I sincerely doubt most of CC makes $150k/year, seeing as the national median income is FAR less than that. See the census report here.

From polls in the past I'm pretty sure we've discovered that CC isn't exactly the "national median".

Agreed, however from reading the polls/questions on tax breaks/incentives, it doesn't sound like a whole lot of people are completely phasing out of them, either. Which happens for a lot of tax breaks around $150k (married filing jointly.) (TDC can correct me on that if I'm wrong - I'm not fully versed in individual income taxes.)

    Just my observation.

I hope some of that money is going to a trust fund for the kids to pay for therapy. They're going to need it!

I'd love to make $150k per SEASON (which is what 6 months?) that's a good chunk more than my DH makes A YEAR. I realize most on CC make that or more a year, but $150k (or $300k) a year is a lot for the majority of the country/world
You realize, right, that you make a comment like this everytime someone mentions money on this board? If you're so miserable being broke, perhaps you should do something constructive with your time, like finish your college degree (you can do that online these days!) and get a job instead of spending your entire day whining on a message board about how everyone has it better than you.

    Is that really necessary?

Why don't YOU go do something constructive with your time rather than berating someone who's busy raising two kids.

Yeah, poor Kate, 2 mil a year is so little! I could probably manage to live off of that for the rest of my life.
I thought it was 75k for the entire season. Holy cow. I always thought reality show participants made a pittance. How is this even possible to make that much per episode on reality show? I mean they are almost on par with the Friends cast in their final seasons.

Maybe I am all wet but I'd hardly think that making less than $150K a year = broke. Was there an increase in the poverty line that I'm unaware of?

The cast of Friends made $1 million per episode each in the final two seasons.

Bravo! I am so tired of listening to people complain about their lives yet they do NOTHING to try and make it better. Why put forth an effort to make a difference and improve your life when you can sit on the computer and play the woe is me game all day?
