Default Ever bought concert tickets through a fan club?

I'm a nerd, but Brad Paisley is coming here in January and I love him. There are tickets on sale now for fan club members, which I'm not, but it's only 25 bucks to join. I can't see the tickets now so I'm trying to decide if it will be worth it. Regular tickets go on sale Saturday but I would buy them now if they are better.

Just wondering if anyone's bought concert tickets through a fan club pre-sale. Was it worth it? Thanks!

I have no idea about the fan ticket thing, but we've gone the past 2 years to his concert and it is FABULOUS!!!! I'd take the chance and pay the $25. What fun!!!

Yeah this will be my fourth time to see him. That's why I was really tempted to join the FC if it actually meant better tickets.

Not sure about the whole fan club thing....

But, I saw his show last summer and I agree - he's amazing in concert.

Okay, please don't judge me for this, but I joined the AC/DC fan club to get tickets for their current tour. Fan club membership was $50, the tickets themselves were about $90 each, and there was a limit of 2 tickets. It felt expensive when I was buying them but we ended up with seats right in front of the stage, in the 11th row. I looked on Stubhub to see what the scalpers were asking for similar tickets, and they were pricing them at $700+ each. So, I think it was definitely worth it!

It seems worth it for an artist you really enjoy. I have no personal experience with fan clubs or BP but I would consider depending on the artist.

i've done it before and it was worth it. the seats weren't crazy close, but still better than if i bought them somewhere else (at a normal price).

Haven't done it for Brad Paisley. But DH has done it for bands that him and his friends like. They were superstar seats, but they were good, and like dana b, said, thye most likely will be better than what you can get elsewhere.

Yeah, DH was in Warehouse (DMB) and got better tickets than he could have through ticketmaster.

I joined Josh Groban's fan club to get access to a pre-sale. Definitely worth it!
