Default Is FF ever wrong about O date?

I've been charting for 3 months (temps, CM, CBEFM and this month some OPKs). I felt pretty confident that I Oed on CD27 this month, but when I put my 3dpo temp in this morning and FF plotted my coverline, it said I Oed on CD25!! Has anyone else ever had FF be wrong?

All the time. I only used FF to track things; I used my own judgment about O dates.

It was spot on for me, but I only temped, checked CM and did OPK. When I look at your chart, I agree you O'd on cd25 because of your thermal shift and the +opk.

Some people do ovusoft, too, so they have two "opinions".

Did you ask in the charting thread? Those ladies have a lot of knowledge.

As for your chart, without knowing if you would have gotten a pos OPK on the 26th, it's really hard to say for sure. Plus, you have two open temps (which I assume means you temped later/earlier?).

Either way, they for sure have your CL wrong.

Absolutely. FF got the date wrong with DD, when ovulation trigger and subsequent ultrasounds confirmed the true timing.

Bwahahaha. FF has been wrong so many times it's not even funny - back when I was active in the charting to avoid pregnancy threads on WC and CC a few years back we never trusted them and always ran any interpretations by a few other gals and our own knowledge of the rules. Especially if your temps and CM aren't textbook-perfect they tend to err.

O.k., thanks ladies! Someone suggested that I use the 'temperature corrector' to see if that changed anything, which it didn't, but it did give me the idea to play around with the data a bit. As soon as I deleted the +OPK on CD25, my O date shifted to CD27 as I thought. I definitely trust the CBEFM more than the OPKs since it measures LH + estrogen. I think my +OPK on CD25 was the beginning of my LH surge, but the estrogen got picked up the following morning. I guess I'll find out if I'm right in about 10 days!
