    Default Zumba

I was just recently introduced to this workout - a combination of latin dance, bellydance, hip hop, aerobics, etc. I decided to sign up for a class (started at the beginning of this month), and I love it!!

Anybody else Zumba? Are you taking a class or at home? Where do you get your choreography?

I love it too! I take it at my gym, but there are a few songs and dances on You Tube. I think my instructors get their stuff online and bring a master trainer to the city periodically.

This summer, there's supposed to be a master trainer coming to a town about 45 minutes away that our class may go see together!! My first session has ended now , so I need to get back into the gym and see when the next one is starting up, how much it is, and how long it will be!

I went to my first class yesterday. I think I would enjoy it more if I was able to get a hang of the steps. The classes at my gym are packed then they turn off the lights and turn on the colored dance lights which makes it hard to see the instructor.

It took me a good 2-3 classes to get a hang of the steps. Stick with it. It does get easier!

My gym started this up last night and I had so much fun! Since it was the first class ever, none of us knew what we were doing and so we didn't feel self-conscious. I can't wait to go to the next class!

Bumping this up. Hoping to hit my first class tonight! It's in the middle of a summer session, but it's "drop-in". I have no idea if it will be filled with regulars or first timers or what, but I'm excited!

Bumping this up to see if anyone has the DVDs....I saw the ad on TV this weekend and wondered if it is worth the $60?

Is it hard to catch on to?

I just started taking the classes last night at a local gym. The instructor was awesome, but the class was really full, so it was hard to see her. I'll get up front next time. I absolutely loved the classes. I don't think I'd have the discipline to do it at home.
