I think once you get to 10+ years of relevant experience, 2 pages is fine.

Thanks . That's right about the point that's causing the one page problem!

So the follow up question...at what point do you let the not-quite-so-relevant experience fall off? Some of my early career jobs are good conversation starters (and show writing experience, which is something not particularly common in my current field), but they were more than 10 years ago, and not really related to what I've done during the past 10 years. On the last iteration of the resume, they were one-liners (I don't want to do more than that), but is even that too much?

Can you include it in related experience/proficiencies section?

Also, what is your industry? The reason I ask is I listed my last two employers in the employment section, but a big chunk of my resume is "Experience" where I list out what I can do (basically). Some industries are moving to this format whereas others are more traditional.

    Bookworm-
    That's a tough call. I know I still like to see a timeline of full-time and/or post-graduation employment, even if it's just one-liners of the non-relevant stuff.

I should add that I've only had 2 previous employers, so I didn't let anything drop.

But, the one employer I was there for 6 years and worked my way up the ladder. I included that I started at XX and help XX and XX management positions (my last two before leaving).

The other one was a one liner with the company name, location, dates of employment and title.

How do I explain reason for leaving my previous job in my interview tomorrow? Real reason I left is bc my boss ignores me every time I go to work and deleted me from facebook. If I say personal reasons, the prospective employer will ask me to elaborate. How do I do that?

No need to elaborate. You left because you wanted new opportunities. You enjoyed working for your former employer but wanted new challenges.

ok so like I wanna know if I burned any bridges in quitting my job. Ok so like the morning of my quit day, I told my boss to "like me just like she used to." She obviously didn't like hearing me allege that she doesn't like me. She was like, "I do like you personally. If I didn't like you, I wouldn't have called you in." She mentioned she called me in just to give me hours, not necessarily that they got their asses kicked. Then she added that if I'm gonna be paranoid she won't call me in no more. I didn't buy it bc it wasn't about the hours. It was about she kept more distance from me than she used to before I embarrassed her.

Less than 2 hours later, I called in "for my resignation." I said I won't be giving my 2 weeks. Well, before I quit, she didn't ignore me completely. After I quit, she did. I'm 99.9% sure it was bc I failed to appreciate the 2nd chance she gave me and came across as spoiled and ungrateful. People at Wal-Mart had been fired for less than what I did. I just wanna know if I burned any bridge bc if I applied everywhere in town and they all turn me down, would I be able to return to my former employer?
