    Default Oxiclean and HE washers?

Does anyone use Oxiclean in a HE/front load washer? Do you throw it in with the wash or throw it in the bleach dispenser? I just bought some Oxo Brite and it says you can use it in HE machines, but doesn't really explain how.

    Thanks!

We had the same issue when we bought our new HE machines. I decided to just sprinkle the Baby Oxyclean on top of the clothes in the washer (we have a top loading HE machine). We haven't had any ill effects yet and the clothes come clean.

We have a front loader and I just put it inside the washer with the laundry.

My box of oxyclean says that if you're using powdered detergent, add the oxyclean directly to the detergent compartment. If you're using liquid, put the liquid on the clothes and the oxyclean in the detergent compartment. My guess is that they recommend doing it this way so that the powder will dissolve.

I put liquid Oxy Clean in with the liquid detergent, in a smaller amount than called for; I guess you could do the same with powder.

I put my powder oxy clean in the wash tub before I load the clothes. I am pretty sure that is what the tub said to do. If I forget, I just pour it on top of the clothes. It works fine that way too.

I put the detergent in the dispenser and the powdered OxiClean in the tub w/the clothes. No problems.
