Good grief, you're all talkative.

Need to run but just wanted to add about the poop. I am no expert and DS is a regular 2x day kind of person but I several friends with kids the same age and this is the age where they become very aware of what is going on down there. If they have a traumatic incident, they become inclined to hold it in or will themselves to not poop. I've had 2 friends add Miralax(sp) just to get things going but it took awhile for the kids to get over it. It's normal behavior for this age. I just wanted to add that even if you are not getting success with dietary changes and miralax, just be patient because it might take awhile.

Oh and is anyone else able to edit their posts in this thread? I know there is a lot of something going on with this site and I really don't care what it is. But as someone who designs web sites this half functionality here and half non working stuff there really irritates me. So I might not post much here if that is the case.

Cynder: Edit was there this morning, and is now gone. Who knows what is going on, but I wish they would stop messing with the functionality.

PTing--It's such a relief to hear that others are having problems with potty training. I also have not been great about enforcing it, but Annalie has no real interest. She'll sit on the potty (if we read her books), but she never goes in there. And she loves her diapers. My mom, stepmom, and MIL have all given me a lot of grief about this.

Getting dressed--We're still doing pretty well with this.I usually give Annalie a choice of outfits. Sometimes she picks out her own. The only real problem is when we are staying in. She sees no point in getting dressed if we aren't going somewhere. When she resists me, I pretend I am "mommy monster" (which is something she used to call me seriously when I tried to dress her, but we turned it into a joke) and that usually works.

Hitting--Annalie has never been much of a hitter, but lately she's started to hit me a little (lightly). This morning, though, she whacked me on the nose with a little people figure. Out of the blue! Normally she only hits when she's frustrated. It really hurt, too. She said she was sorry right away, but I still put her in timeout for a little bit. I'm not sure what the deal is.

BTW, I don't have the edit function either.I also noticed a lot of new users. I wonder if CC is being advertised or something. New users could be fun.

Disney,
I'm having total preggo brain. I love that picture of your DD, she is beautiful! She looks like such a little princess!

Alienhost,
You betcha. I'm trying to stay distracted. I'm trying to avoid an induction this time and they're willing to wait it out with me for another 2 weeks. So, hopefully this kid doesn't sit around on its laurels too much longer.

psusna,
No problem! Hope you two are able to make some use of it. We still haven't taken Caroline but DH and I were saying we'd like to take her there and the Aquarium once the baby is born as a special little outing for her.

Disney,
Maybe is you email a mod they'll delete it for you? That edit button is driving me nuts with its disappearing acts.

LOL...I probably should be doing many other things rather than posting judging by the poor grammar in my last post.
