LOVE that show! But as a wedding photographer, I freely admit to being slightly wedding obsessed! I wish they would let US tell the girls what looks good on them! I get really tired of PSing out back fat from strapless dresses.
I got married in 2002 and Camille sold me my wedding dress at Kleinfelds. Back then she had BRIGHT red hair in a not-so-natural color and um, she wasn't that nice! I told her I wanted anything BUT strapless and she said "listen sweetie it's going to take me all day to go through the back and find you the 3 non-strapless gowns we carry".
I love this show too. I'm not all that into weddings, but this show cracks me up. I told my Mom she has to watch it (she is wedding-obsessed). My MIL bought her wedding dress at Kleinfelds in Brooklyn 30 some years ago.
What can I say, I was too young and too overwhelmed the wedding planning thing so I was a weenie and just took her crap, lol ! I'm guessing she's putting on act she seems so much nicer on the show than she was to me!!

Amen to that! ...lol.... Along those same lines, I hate it when I've got to photograph a wedding where the bride has not taken into consideration that she have 5 BM's that are all different shapes and sizes - and picks out the same dress for them all. Somtimes their dresses (and the way they fit each body) make the bridal party look sloppy in photographs.

Don't ask the locals for directions, they already lost one colony!
Don't worry, Lucy, I got married just over two year ago and would never consider that dress. I do think it looked really great on the blond, slightly heavy girl from Kentucky, but for some reason it also didn't look see-through on her.

Lucy I was thinking the same thing! When I first saw the dress I thought it was an undergarment or missing the top part. I can't imagine paying $6600 for a dress that looks incomplete.
