    Default Pilates while TTC

    I take Pilates once a week and our class focuses heavily on ab exercises. I have not signed up yet for the October-December session. DH and I are thinking about TTC in October or November. I've read that it is bad to do ab-focused Pilates while pregnant, but does anyone know if it's bad to do it while TTC?

    Nope, it's not bad. Continue on with your usual exercise until pregnant. No need to alter it for pregnancy until you're pregnant.

    I think you can to pilates and other on your back ab exercises through your first trimester.

    I don't do pilates, but my OB said that crunches were fine even after I was pregnant.

    it's fine. I did while TTC and while pregnant.
