OK, I'm finally getting back here to do the replies from the other thread:

Jenny, Oh, I didn't even realize that! I was just going based on the same way SAI is set up.

Does anyone have another viewpoint on that--putting 12 mos instead of 6 in the 1st post?

And btw, Jenny, welcome to the thread. I'm so glad we'll be TTCing together again! Met sounds like a good option for you right now--who knows, between that & BFing maybe your hormones will regulate enough to make you O?

Pookie, good luck with the interviews and hearing from the other schools! Glad you guys found a solution you were happy with. I had a similar question for my RE, about the age thing; I can share what she told me. I told her that since I couldn't conceive when I started ttc at 27 (and had a m/c at 26), I didn't want to put off another baby for too long--considering I'd like to have the option for baby #3. I thought that if I waited until 32 (next year) and then 34 or 35 for another, my fertility would be even worse than in my 20s. She said that 32 is still young enough that it's not going to make a huge difference on my fertility at this point. Make what you will of that for your own situation!

Kemorr, Whoo hoo for no more BCP! That's interesting how different the shots & stuff are this time. I'm nervous about starting them again, but I don't have nearly as many as you do for an IVF cycle. At least the lupron needles are small, right? So you can work your way up.

As for me, I went in yesterday for cd3 b/w and my HSG is scheduled for Monday. It's so much more complicated this time--I had to get a babysitter and then luckily a friend offered to drive me, and I'm hoping I can get DD down for a nap before I leave. My dad's babysitting & she gets all wound up when she sees him, so it would help if she was already asleep when he shows up! Last time DH just took a couple hours off in the morning and took me. It's definitely a taste of what it will be like to arrange a sitter when I have to go to more frequent appts--but at least those I can drive myself to.

scooter - I hope your HSG goes much smoother than your last one.

kemorr - Good luck with the shots, hopefully, they get easier for you again.

Pookie - Good luck hearing about the schools.

I still have to call about the Met, probably will on Monday. I only remembered this week when I knew the office was at lunch, it was too early, or to late. Good timing, huh? So, it's on my to do list for Monday.

Scooter - Goodluck for your HSG. I so don't envy you! I agree with arranging childcare - it is going to be difficult, especially for the ER and ET and then bedrest after, I really don't know how that is going to work! Also, I'm not supposed to lift more than 15 pounds - well DD weighs a lot more than 15 pounds and how am I going to not lift her?

Jenny - Hopefully the met will be all you'll need!

Well, I'm officially off BCP and waiting for AF to show. I don't feel AF-y at all, so who knows when she'll come? I can't remember how long it took last time. The lupron shots are going fine, they don't hurt, it's just different. I'll get used to it, I'm sure and it will become a part of my routine again. I've also started doing acupuncture again, which is ok. I don't really love it but I do think it helped, so will try to do it as much as possible this time.

    Here are my stats:

    Your Name & age - Kemorr, 31
    DH's name & age - DH, 33
    children & ages - DD, 10/26/06
TTC since ? - not preventing since DD born
TTC issues/diagnosis - Unexplained with a touch of endometriosis
Current plan or treatments - Starting IVF, on lupron as of 9/11/07

Jenny, Oh I hate that, I always remember to call places when it's an off time like that.

Kemorr, hopefully AF will show up very soon! When you had your protocol consult, did they give you an estimate on when AF would come? Oh, and do you want me to add acupuncture to your treatments in the stats?

OK, I've updated everything, although I forgot to include any chart links. So if you have one, let me know and I'll add it. It might just be me at this point!

    Children and Ages: Ryan 3/15/05

Current plan or treatment: RE consult on Tuesday, but most likely on hold until early 2008 or later, possible IUI

Kemorr Good luck on everything. Childcare is soo much fun to arrange. It seems like I always have sitters available when I don't *really* need anything, but when I do they're a scarce commodity.
Jenny Good luck on the met. I have a friend who just had some success with PCOS and met.
Scooter Interesting about your RE's thoughts about age. We're also hoping for 3 kids. I figured since I couldn't get pg at 25 why would it be easier at 32? I soo wanted to be done having kids by 30ish, so it's kind of hard to think that we might not be looking at another until 31/32. I also never thought I'd be thinkinig about having #2 and 3 closer than 24 months, either.

I hear you on the child care issues. When I originally scheduled the scope and D&C my DH said his dad could watch DS and he would take me. Then when asked about stuff he was wondering if he could just drop me off and come back and pick me up later. I was pissed and told hime no way! Then the night before I asked if FIL was coming over and DH said he couldn't get away from the shop (DH owns and works in a car repair shop and his dad works for him). So the night before my surgery when I'm nervous enough as it is I'm calling around to my grandparents and babysitters @ 9pm trying to find someone to watch DS. DH didn't even try to offer suggestions or anything! Finally, I got it straightened out and my mom watched him till 8:15 (we left @ 7:15), then my aunt came in and watched him till 9:30 when my grandma came over and watched him the rest of the day till we got home.
DH says my family is overbaring but does his fam ever pitch in and rearrange their schedules last minute like that?? Heck no. He likes it just fine when my family does. GGRRRR!
OK enough of that for now.
Good luck to everyone w/ TTC and BDing!!

kemorr - I'll send AF your way. I'm about done with her - hopefully for a while!

pookie - that's good to know that you know someone who had success with Met only. TTC #1, Met alone didn't do much for me - but I also was having crazy long cycles. At least this time, I know that AF isn't taking months and months to roll into town. Plus, I've lost a lot of weight, so that might help too.

Good luck with your RE consult on Tuesday!

ktnkids - welcome to you. You haven't O'd since your m/c? Now that you've had the D&C and hysterocopy do you know what the next plan of action will be? Provera? Clomid?

I think AF should be leaving here soon....thank goodness, she's been especially heavy the last two days. I will say though, my cramps are not as unbearable as they were before having DD. Not sure why, but I'm not complaining.

Jenny-right now we're gonig to see if this helps straighten out my cycles. I don't really want to go on Clomid b/c I know too many people who've ended up w/ twins+ and I don't really want that right now. I'd really like to find out why I don't O.
Hopefully AF is leaving for a while. I loved now worrying about htat while I was pg and BFing.
