I have the same problem. I can barely get myself up out of bed at 7:30 to go to work at 9. I could go at lunch, but I'm usually so busy at work that I eat at my desk. I stay at work until 6 or 7, sometimes 8. I get home and just flop from exhaustion. Work consumes my life, but I suppose I could stay off of CC and get more work done

I do have a scheduled dance class on Tuesdays, so I know I'm working out then. And I also have yoga on Wednesdays, but I tend to blow that off a lot since its pay as you go and dance class is pre-paid.

5:00 am. Every day. It's lots of fun.
Seriously, my daughter is up between 6-7 most days so if I don't get up at 5:00 I wouldn't have any time to myself at all. After I get out of work I pick her up at my moms, come home, make dinner, play with her, put her to bed, do dishes, pick up the mass destruction she left behind, and then I'm too tired to do anything else. It's honestly the only time for me to do it.

    Hi, btw.

My work/life situation is a lot different than the OP. I'm not currently working (DH and I are getting ready to move within the next few months) and I don't have children so I'm fortunate to have a lot of spare time. With that said, I take tennis lessons four hours a week - 2 hours Mondays from 10-noon and then Fridays from 9:30-11:30. I've recently committed to start training for competition so I'm not just standing in one spot in some cutsey little outfit, batting at balls. I'm constantly running and am always drenched at the end.....think cardio tennis. When I'm not doing lessons, I have some free weights here at home and do my routine every day, usually in the mornings. I find it really revs me up and gives me energy for the whole day. If you're interested in tennis, I know most racquet clubs offer various clinics in the evenings so that might work for you if you get off work in the late afternoons/early evenings. I find the sport to be the best all-over workout around....everything from my arms all the way down to my calves are super toned! Just an idea for ya.

I get up at 430 am nurse my daughter and am running by 530am. It really is not that bad. I am energized for my day and I have some peace and quiet. Edited to add I work in a 100 million dollar gym and I still find that I have a hard time finding hte time to work out if I don't do it when I first get up.

Great job on your weight loss!!

I workout at lunch, if I can. One day I cycle, the other day I weight train. If I have time in the evenings, I can do whatever is missing, but if it doesn't happen, I'm not too upset.

Another thing, if your DH is home on the weekends - slip away for a couple really long, effective workouts - I used to (out of boredom mainly ) bike to the gym, do a cardio class, do weight training, go swimming, and bike home. It was about 2.5 hours, but it was really great at getting a good chunk of working out done for the week.

I work out Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:30. I go directly from work. I also work out Saturdays at 12:00.

The surprising thing is that exercise gives me energy. I can be really tired before class but afterword feel energized.

I tried several different things and I loved Stroller Strides, which I did for a year after DS was born, but then his schedule just didn't work with the time of the class after a while and after gaining back all of the weight I'd lost I was desperate enough to do what I knew I'd needed to all along. I pack a bag before bed at night and get up at 6, go to the gym and get ready there and come back home before DH leaves for work ready to start my day. I am a SAHM so I don't have a job as such to worry about, but if I don't get it in before DS wakes or after he goes to bed, it's just not going to happen. that's working for me, though I HATE getting up before I *have* to, but it's worth it.
On days I miss the gym I'll do a workout DVD at night as soon as DS gets in bed, but I have a much harder time getting to sleep those nights because exercise really energizes me

I am also a SAHM, but my boys are in school (grade 1 everyday & pre-k 4 mornings a week). We live in a very small town, and there is no gym, so I got a Wii Fit. I also take the kids for walks with my neighbor/BFF & her 2 kids, or we leave the 4 of them with my DH (neighbor's DH passed away 3 months ago). It's not enough & I know that, but it's really all we can do in this small town!

Currently I'm working the 6:30-4:00 schedule, so the only time I've been able to fit it in is at lunch. I used to do it in the morning, but its too much to have my mom watching DD at 4:30 in the morning right now! On the days I'm off, I workout in the mornings, the gym has a daycare that I drop DD off at.

Luckily my schedule allows for me to workout in the AM before work. It probably wouldn't happen too often if I waited until after work.
