    Default Bib recommendations

My 3 month old DD is drooling alot these days. Her neck and chest are constantly wet. She's developing a rash in both areas. Any ideas on bibs that contain the drool well? Ideas for keeping the rash at bay? It seems the bibs with the plastic backing would only make the rash worse.

Carter's has a line of "Drool Happy" bibs that are cloth on both sides with waterproof plastic stuff inside. They have super cute sayings and if you have a store near you are 3 for $10 or $5 each online.

At 9.5m, DS is still drooling like he was at 3 months. . . we just found the Drool Happy bibs by Carters and they are SUPER cute! DS looks nice in them, they have nice sayings instead of smart-aleky ones (good for church, lol).

The only complaint I have is the velcro is kind of small, so on my mobile little guy, they tend to fall off more often.

But perfect for a 3m old!!

Ditto this (except tell her Julie sent ya! LOL)! DD doesn't really use bibs anymore, but I buy these all the time for baby shower gifts (how do you think Faye got one HAHAHA) They are the BEST!

LOL, yeah, Julie started the obsession, and DH had to put a stop to it when I ordered my 8th bib.... and then Julie sent me one more as a baby shower gift

I would definitely recommend bibs with plastic inside or on the back. Other than the Carter's ones previously mentioned, I also got some from H&M - terry on the front, plastic on the back -> dry baby

bumping this because i need recs for bibs that have snaps instead of velcro...

DS#2 spits up a LOT and i've found them useful for saving clothes instead of having to change him 5 times a day, the bib usually works to catch the spit up...but i feel like the velcro is scratching his neck.

i've bought the colby lane ones for DS#1 and LOVE them, but they are too thick for a newborn...

    any recs?

I really like the bibs with snaps too (I think they stay on better and DS can't rip them off like the velcro ones) but they're hard to find!

Not sure if you're a Etsy fan but I bought a few of these snap bibs for DS and they're great:

    The seller is SugarChic Baby

I've also found a few snap bibs by Cute Little Me.

And in case anyone out there is looking for basic velcro bibs without any design, check out IKEA! I bought a couple of packs recently and I think they were $3 for a pack of 5. They're not the greatest quality (the bib itself is pretty thin) but I like that they're plain white (sometimes I get tired of all the animals, etc. on the bibs) with different colors around the edging so it's easy to coordinate with an outfit.
