Opinions Needed Regarding Blinds

We are building a house and are starting to think about blinds and other window treatments. Here is a picture of the great room, sorry it is so small.

I was going to get blinds on the four lower windows. Dh thinks this would look odd just having them on the bottom windows but not the top. I think having anything on the top windows would look weird. In case it matters, there is a fire place behind those boxes and a tv will be mounted above it.

So my question is would just having blinds on the four lower windows look ok? Any other suggestions?

The blinds will be to keep the glare out and also to keep the sun from fading the furniture.
