AlisonCO - What kind of granola does your kid eat? I think my daughter would probably like that but part of me wonders if it would be too hard for her to chew? She has 8 teeth, all in the front though.

So glad this was started. I feel like we're in such a slump.

    Today

B: 1 scrambled egg with peas, carrots and corn mixed in, 5-6 slices of pears, 6 oz of whole milk with a little bit of Danon Light and Fit yogurt mixed in. (I've created a GOGART! monster and she begs for it all day)

L:We went to Mexican but she didn't really eat. Tiny bit of quesadilla, black beans and 1 or 2 chips, watered down apple juice.

S: GOGART! (milk with a little yogurt), raisins, one krispy cracker and a couple licks of Grandma's ice cream cone.

D: mac and cheese with brocolli and cauliflower mixed in. She actually picked out the veggies and just ate those. No interest in the noodles, water.

This isn't normal, she usually eats like a piggy but has been sick for the past 8 days and is just starting to get over it.

DH eats granola everyday and the kids eat it a couple of times a week so I usually stock up - I think that right now they are eating one from Target (Archer Farms maybe?) What I do is soak the granola in milk for a few minutes to soften it a bit before I add the cherrios and banana. Both of my kids love the cherrios/granola combo.

I long for the day my son is picking out the veggies to EAT them, not put them to the side saying "Yuck!".

    Yesterday:
B- few bites blueberry waffle, few bites life cereal, grapes, few bites of my veggie sausage w/cheese
L- the pasta and maybe one bite of chicken out of leftover chicken, broccoli and ziti
    S- more grapes, some cheez-its
D- hot dog, oven fries (i was going out to dinner and let's just say my husband doesn't cook)

We are in major food hell right now, hopefully due to teething. The only thing she will eat for breakfast is yogurt and only pasta for dinner. It's been a blast.

    B - Yogurt, honeydew, milk
L - Turkey and cheese pieces, banana, milk
S - Honey graham sticks, raisons
D - Butternut squash ravioli with peas and carrots mixed in, Nilla wafers for dessert
    Milk before bed
