Holmes is in town shooting the comedy Mad Money, her first movie since meeting and marrying Tom Cruise.
After getting spooked by a pair of photographers en route to the store, the actress, 28, had her handlers call the local police, who came to the rescue, escorting Holmes inside and trailing her as she browsed for clothes for herself and daughter, Suri.
Katie was shopping at Target. Wow! Maybe she's just like us. Shopping for clothes for her and Suri. I thought she only went to Barney's! Or did Tommy really limit her budget?
I'm sure this is nothing - as it was told to me by a person who loves to exaggerate - but I hear they are already divorcing. I doubt it is true. Tommy's got too much of a hold on her!
The person who told me this has done some design work for many celebrites and definitely has connections, but still, I'm not entirely sure I believe it.
