So I popped in to catch up on the recent posts and browsed the front page for giggles. WOW - our babes have grown so much!! And we used to be such a big group!I'm glad there are still plenty of us keeping in touch via LJ and Facebook.
Abigail - ah, my passionate babe. She's gearing up for kindergarten, and despite regular reminders that "5 year olds do not act that way", she persists with making me crazy on a daily basis! Part of me is sort of glad that someone else will get to deal with her soon!!Of course, as soon as that evil thought enters my head, she busts out with something amazing and all I want to do is snuggle on her. She recently informed me that she has figured out what she wants to be when she grows up: an oceanographer (duh!). I asked her if she knows what they do and she promptly told me they study things in the ocean, like sharks and whales and zooplankton. After my shock, I then agreed that this might be a good thing for her to be when she grows up. We also talked about a marine biologist, as they actually study animals that live in the ocean. She informed me she'd think about it.
All in all, I can't believe she's 5. I love and adore her all the times I'm not considering selling her!!
