Yay Arrena! Trenton is still a work in progress. I think what is going to help us is him being able to go in there and do it himself. He still struggles with getting his pull-up up and down. Once he can master that I think he will do it all on his own as Arrena does. He does go for us daily, telling us he has to go. He gets a single jelly bean each time. Usually he tells us he has to poo if it is already too late so we are still working on the bowl movements.

This morning I had breakfast with Trenton at his school. He took me by the hand in the hall and led me to the gym. There they had muffins and donuts set up with fruit and juices. We shared an OJ and a muffin. Then he gave me a card and a wrapped gift. It was a photo of him that the teachers had framed. It was so cute! Oh, and he gave me a flower too. Sure was a nice way to start the day.

Congrats on having Arrena trained! yay! Broderick is still not even close to being PT...he was doing so well this past spring and now wants no part of it...I pushed it for a while but gave up. He has to be trained to go to preschool in Sept. but that obviously isn't going to happen. So, we'll try again in a few months and hope they can squeeze him in when the time comes.

    I can't believe it either!

We are getting B some books (I'm Mighty - he already has I Stink, I'm Dirty and I'm Bad), Duck Tales on dvd (secretly, I think DH ordered this more for himself! ), Planet Heroes (*loves* these...I do too - they are larger action figures that I don't worry too much about my other LO getting into), and the big PLanet Hero space station (from gpa and gma)

ETA: Broderick has a real guitar and LOVES it!

Alex67 Thanks! It's been pretty terrific. She can even nap dry, though that took some time and she's had an accident or two while sleeping. She now only has a pull up through the night. We'll deal with that.

We had her take all her pullups out of their holding box, and put Julian's newborn diapers in. Kind of passing the torch. Now if he would just get here!!

Don't know what she'll get for her birthday (beyond a baby brother). We bought her a guitar a while back and haven't given it to her, so maybe that will be it.

D - I didn't realize how close your EDD and Arrena's birthday were! Guess no big party plans, huh?

ha! November seemed to be my month to get pg too...except DD had her own plans in coming early!

(Now DS doesn't understand how he can be older than her if her birthday comes first )

Arden's getting a trip to Disneyworld right after her bday, so we're not going to do a big gift.

I think we will get her a camera that actually works ...the ILs are talking about getting her some sort of monstrosity of a car to drive around the neighborhood.

Exactly! We couldn't really plan a party if we weren't sure WE would be there. So she's getting a party at daycare, and we will likely have a family something or other - maybe when the baby arrives (but with Arrena as the spotlight).

And yes, it took quantum physics to work out timing like that. Everyone says they can share birthday parties. Um, right, cause a Leo girl would LOVE to share the spotlight with a little brother three years younger.

Aww why wouldn't you want to do joint parties? Hee Hee. It sounds fun to me (I am not looking forward to having two parties close together, but I know the boys wouldn't go for it)

Would anybody like to borrow two little boys. They found the horns for the bikes and are running through the house honking them.

Ben was already given his big gift from us, a full function RC truck, but at his party he is probably going to get a few hotwheels.
My parents want to give him a pair of roller skates so e stops playing Curious George skating (one foot on each car)

BTW what are we going to do for the big kid thread. I may not be able to do a ton since I will be a little busy. Do we want to have all of the mommy IDs on the first page or what?
