    Default What to Serve with Chicken Sausage...

    The other day at Trader Joe's I picked up some roasted pepper, chicken sausage. Now, I can't figure out what to serve them with. I used two links last night for some soup, but that still leaves 4 more. Any ideas?

    You could use them in a gumbo or jambalaya recipe!

    You could sautee them with some onions and peppers in a marinara sauce and serve them with pasta.

    We'll often stir fry them and then add bottled mariana sauce, like Jaycee suggested. My other favorite way is to brown them and serve them on top of lemon-cheese risotto.

    PS - Our favorites are the Spicy Italian.

    Serve with risotto (red pepper/parmesan maybe) and a salad or veggies.

    I brown them and serve with mustard sauce and a veggie medley.

    We grill ours and serve with rice or annie's mac & cheese plus a veggie.

    We usually grill and serve as we would any other meat -- with a veggie and maybe a starch. I happen to like succotash as a side dish to sausages especially, but anything will do.

    I make them with Rachel Ray's grilled corn cakes and sauteed peppers--YUMMY!

    We cook them in some olive oil in a frying pan and cut them up into dime size pieces. Serve them over whole wheat pasta topped with tomatoe sauce and parmesan cheese.
