Can you paint Toilet and Sink?

We redid our downstairs bathroom 2 years ago. I was in a hurry to finish it cause I was pregnant and just wanted to clean up and get it done. So, I really didnt get to do what I wish I would have done to it. So, the toilet and sink stayed the same (grey). And, I picked a boring grey tile for all over the bathroom.

Im trying to brighten it up. Is there any way to paint a toilet bowl and sink? We can't afford to buy new ones right now.

You can definitely paint a sink, but I've actually never heard of painting a toilet. Honestly, by the time you buy the paint, bonding agent and factor in your time, I doubt it's worth it. You can buy a brand new toilet for about $60 and a drop-in sink for about $30.

mamax2-i've looked everywhere, and cannot find a toilet for 60.00 or a sink for 30. thanks though. i have a pedestal sink in there and the least expensive i have found was around 150.00.

I'm pretty sure you cannot reglaze a toilet because of the water that sits in it.

Home Depot. But, you're right about the pedestal, that will definitely cost more than a drop-in. Good luck with whatever you choose!
