Default Legitimate work at home jobs?

I was wondering if anyone out there knew of any legitimate work at home jobs. I am currently doing an externship as a surgical technologist, but I'm not getting paid. Money is starting to get tight around here and I really want to contribute, but I really need my weekends for rest and relaxation, as my job can be physically demanding at times.

    Does anyone know of any?

I too would be interested in an at-home job. I currently live in a small town, and consequently, have a poor-paying position, that doesn't even require a degree!! *Long story on how I got here* A little extra money (not to mention, something to keep my mind active!) would be MORE than wonderful. I am not interested in Direct Selling--tried it, it doesn't work in small towns that well. I would prefer something computer/web-based.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a home daycare! I work m-f and have weekends off and holidays. There are days I could tear my hair out but for the most part, I love my job

Unfortunately, I have my externship M-Th, so I could only do evenings and then all day Fridays. Plus, I don't know if I could handle a day care .

The best work at home job, if you can find one, is online customer service reps. You answer emails, live chats with customers, etc.

JetBlue and other companies also use non-central call centers and I think all it requires is installation of a second phone line and dedicated internet access.

There is selling stuff on EBay too!

Just messaged my friend at Jet Blue and he says that only the reservations department does the at home thing but are only based in Salt Lake City. Plus he says that when they post the job listing it is only up for an hour and they get over 1000 applicants so it is nearly impossible to get into.

I'd love to hear more ideas.

ETA: Jet Blue has AMAZING benefits...free air travel anywhere for everyone in your family (mother, father, brothers, sisters, kids, live-in SO) plus 2 one-way tickets per quarter for anyone else.

I've heard good things about working for LiveOps as an agent - you take calls at your home for infomercials and things like that. www.liveops.com

One of the guys I work with has a wife that's a SAHM. For extra money she does medical transcriptions for a couple hours a day while the kids are napping. I don't really know any details, though.

Anyone know how much the liveops thing pays? Or how many hours you can work, are they flexible, etc?
