No real exciting gifts over here - a wallet, an iPhone belt holder, some books from the girls, maybe grab some alcohol on Saturday. And the annual D-A-D photo, which we've done since 2006. This year I found this frame at Things Remembered for the pictures:
We are getting together with his father and brother, as usual (his choice on Father's Day).
We did the "daddy" pictures for DH and "poppa" pictures for my dad. My mom gave me $10 in Kohl's Cash, so I let the girl pick out a gift for DH. I talked them down from beach towel clips for a chair, a pink tie and a new frying pan. We ended up getting a game of lawn darts.
I made DH some pancakes, poached eggs and bacon for breakfast in bed. The girls like doing that (and i made them chocolate pancakes - they seemed good; I don't know. They at least ate them). We're going to see Madagascar 3 today.
OMG, love the interviews. Gotta remember to do that one next year. I think that would make an awesome momento!
Instead of having "answers" on a math test, they should just call them "impressions," and if you got a different "impression," so what, can't we all be brothers?
Thanks, I got the idea and printout from Pinterest. I can't find the pin right now, but I'll post it when I do. We did Father's Day at my IL's today and everyone got a huge kick out of the kids answers, so it was definitely a big hit!
