We are looking into building a new home and I would like to find a house plan where the bedrooms are all located on the same side of the house and preferably all within a few steps of each other. Any ideas?
In 2002 (I can't believe it's been that long already.......) we found our plan at http://www.dreamhomesource.com/. They offered a lot of options in dropdown boxes so you could customize. Good luck!

While a non-split plan isn't very popular any more, most well-known builders should have at least a couple on their websites to look at. Even if you aren't planning to build with them, it will give you a start.
Thanks ladies...I am amazed how hard it is to find a floorplan like this. Maybe I am just a freak, but I don't like the idea of my kids being on the complete opposite side of the house.
Go here-I am by no means advocating buying a home from them-in fact, I would *STRONGLY* urge you not to, but they have a couple non-split plans you may like.
Try the Casa Key, the Bayshore II, the Cambridge & the Robroy.
Some builders let you bring your own floor plans to them that you design yourself, and they will make the official blue-prints for you. My mom did this with our home about 10 years ago.

At this point, the high volume production-based construction builders have such a hold on the market, I highly doubt this would be a cost-effective option anymore. A smaller builder will probably still do this, but you would essentially be paying custom-built home prices.
