    Default Bridal Shower Favors?

I just found out I'm in charge of favors for a bridal shower in a week. I need help! I'd like to be creative and make something, and I especially want them to be useful, practical favors. Her colors are pink and black, and there is a slight butterfly theme.

    Things I'm thinking of...

Cute notepads/stationary tied with black and pink ribbon

A cookie cutter with Hershey kisses wrapped and then sealed with ribbon saying "we're cut out for each other"

Any other ideas would be great! TIA!

I like your cookie cutter idea. I think that's cute.

I think things that go along with the theme but that are still useful are good.

I can't really think of any other ideas; sorry.

For my shower my MOH made chocolate lollipops for folks to take home. The molds come from craft stores and there are tons of shapes. I'm sure there would be a butterfly one. They were really easy and inexpensive to make. You could tie in the colors w/ ribbons or other packaging. I also like the cookie cutter idea. Very cute!

I just did a bridal shower in which I used little clay pots and wildflower seeds as the favors. I tied them up cute with ribbon and everyone seemed to really like them.

For a shower, I made those glass bead magnets, in designs and colours of the wedding.

Sugar cookies in the shape of a church or wedding bells. You could do butterflies.

We threw a couples shower for friends of ours (I was MOH and my husband was Best Man) and I made sugar cookies shaped like wedding cakes and I decorated them w/ their wedding colors (red/white) and I put their initials on the center w/ a heart, like: E S2 S. Then I wrapped each individually in a clear cellophane bag and tied it with a ribbon in their other wedding color, silver. It actually wasn't THAT much work, and they were so cute.

For my showers, my mom did personalized votives from Yankee Candle and my MIL did aprons w/ our names and wedding date on it (no clue what the significance of aprons is) and wrapped it with a ribbon that had a cookie cutter attached.

I think it depends on how many people there will be and what your budget is, though.

At my bridal shower the favors were soaps, from Bath and Body Works, wrapped in different colored tulle and tied with the same colored ribbon as the tulle. It turned out to be very cute! My colors were black and white so, it was hard to have a VERY traditional summer bridal shower with those colors. Hope this helps!

for my shower, my mom bought inexpensive ice cream scoops (nothing fancy, they were more novelty than anything) and filled the scoop with those jordan almonds, wrapped it in tulle, and had a ribbon that said "scoops of love." it was cheesy but everyone loved it.

at my SIL's shower, they had little sample-sized bottles of lotion adn shower gel in little fabric bags with a note attached, "from (name of bride)'s shower to yours." it was really cute and i definitely used the lotion and shower gel...

I like your cookie cutter idea!

At my shower there were little white boxes filled with M&M's and tied with a ribbon.

Dont stress too much about the favors. Id go with something rather simple.
