    Does anybody know where Trader Joe's tilapia comes from? U.S., Central America, or China...? I can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere; I know they claim to use "best practices" or only buy from places with best practices, but I would like to know for sure.

    Giving this thread a bump....because I love TJs!

    We live about an hour and a half away from the closest one and we make a monthly trip to stock up.

    Just wondering if there are some great things out there that we are missing (food or alcohol!)

    We love the orange chicken, potstickers, fried rice, frozen alfredo, goddess salad dressing, green beans, etc. The spinach and artichoke dip is great, too! I love the french onion soup - so much better than canned!

    The kids love the orange chicken as well and we have been giving them a few yogurt stars for a treat, too.

    Yes it is. I have to pace myself whenever I eat it. LOL!

    I really like the chocolate covered raisins or nuts (cashews, almonds) for a sweet snack. If only I possessed any self control!

    We also really like the following:

    * thai curry sauces
    * brownie mix (in the yellow box, I forget what it's called)
    * dried fruit (I like the peaches, my husband likes the candied mango but we get all sorts)
    * mixed nuts / trail mixes
    * jarred pizza sauce
    * the pasta
    * jasmine rice
    * aborio rice
    * pizza dough
    * quattro formaggio shredded pizza cheese blend
    * organic string cheese
    * frozen fish/shrimp
    * maple syrup
    * fat free vanilla yogurt
    * orange peach mango juice (we use it for smoothies)
    * the carrot cake muffins w/ cream cheese frosting - I almost never get these b/c they are SO good!
    * chicken taquitos (frozen)
    * homemade tortillas (I don't know if these are regional or not)
    * cinnamon swirl raisin bread

    We do most of our grocery shopping between the Farmer's Market and TJ's, so we get a LOT of stuff there!

    We have Trader Giotto's Margherita Pizza at least once a week! Also love:

    * mandarin orange chicken
    * sweet potato fries
    * frozen turbo filets (amazing when coated in panko and pan fried!)
    * beef hot dogs
    * "green with envy" frozen veggie mix
    * imported cheeses
    * naan
    * sushi
    * Powerberries
    * chili spiced dried mangoes
    * alsatian cheese tarte

    Now I'm hungry.
