Please help me with this idea

Okay my really good friend was flown to a large hospital with the diagnosis of uterine cancer in the eigth month of pregnancy. After three weeks it was shown to be beginen (not cancerous). We both love scrapbooking, so for her baby shower I would like to hand out journalling cards and have people write on them. How could I inspire people to write things on them (besides having 30 cards with best wishes on them). Thanks so much

You coudl put a different jumping off point on each card and pass them out randonly. Things like, "a wish for baby Smith" "Describe a favorite memory with Mom'sname" "Words of advice fro the new mom" "Somethign baby Smith would be interested to know about her mommy and daddy", etc.
