Default Cool Clothes Stores for 10-Yr-Old Girl?

What is considered a cool clothes store for a little girl age 10? In her words, she's sick of "dork stores" like Target, Wal Mart and Old Navy. I have no clue where to shop for kids!!

I know that Limited too is popular here among the 10 year old set!

Yeah, Limited Too is popular with kids here, too. So is GAP Kids and Hollister and abercrombie. I think Hollister and abercrombie would fit a 10 year old...I can't even get my hand through some of their shirt sleeves, so I'm guessing that's the age group they're targeting.

Old Navy is a dork store? Uh oh. That's where I shop when I'm trying to be cool.
Age really is a bitch, isn't it?

Hmm, thanks gals!!! Hope those stores aren't too expensive. Kids don't really appreciate how much you spend!

I used to shop at Limited Too for my nieces; this is the first year they don't fit easily into clothes from there. The stuff is spendy, but I usually found good stuff on the clearance racks. A lot of the stuff is suprisingly slutty, though.

This year I shopped at American Eagle; I'm still in shock over how much I spent! But I'm still the cool aunt.

i have two nieces in that age range and they like limited too and american eagle.

i personally stay away from abercrombie because some of the things i have seen recently about them are not things i want to encourage in my young, impressionable nieces. for example, t-shirts that say..."Blondes are adored, brunettes are ignored," "Give me something to scream about," and "Who needs brains when you have these?" -- the words written across the chest of the shirt
