What are you looking forward to eating this Thanksgiving/ Christmas/ Hanukkah? What do you avoid eating at all costs?
I love: my aunt's stuffing, made with sausage and baked in our turkey; my aunt's apple pie, which has the best crumb toppings ever; gingerbread cookies; and cider mulled with spices
I hate: fruitcake! green bean casseroles; any of those jello/cottage cheese dishes
I love turkey with gravy and stuffing, Beef Wellington (my Christmas Day dish), pasteles (it's a Puerto Rican thing), Dom or Veuve (it's a celebration of life restored, of light renewed, and the taste, color, and bubbles remind me of these things), and Buche de Noel for dessert.
I hate fruitcake. Slice it up and use it as a doorstop.

My favorite foods include candied yams, giblet stuffing (I'll settle for sausage, though), my mom's apple pie and her homemade fruitcake. I don't have too many least favorites, but they would include turnips and anything jello-related.

Stuffing is probably my favorite holiday food, because I don't eat it any other time of year. I do like pumpkin pie, but it's really just a vehicle for cool whip to me.
I don't like green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, or cranberry sauce.
Y'all should try my homemade fruitcake. No scary candied pineapple. And it's goood ...
I love pretty much every holiday food I can think of -- stuffing, eggnog, gingerbread, fruitcake, pumpkin pie, figgy pudding, champagne, gravlax, mince pies ....
Not a big fan of sugar cookies, however. Or turkey, really.
