Does anyone give their kid freeze dried veggies?

From what I understand, freeze dried veggies maintain most of the nutritous value of fresh veggies. My son hardly eats any veg, so I thought this might be an option for us. I have seen the Just Peas, Just whatever... at Whole Foods, REI, etc. The only downside being that they are expensive. But the kiddo doesn't eat much anyways, so it's not that big of a deal.

Any input on this? :)

I'm thinking he might like this because he likes the snapeas which seem to have a similar texture to freeze dried food, and freeze dried would have less of the fat.

We've given DD Gerber's freeze dried corn and she gobbled it up (but she loves veggies, esp. corn). I tasted it and it's got a sweet taste to it, so your son may like it.

We do the Gerber freeze dried corn too - it's a great on-the-go snack or a way to add a veggie to a restaurant meal (fries not a veggie, IMO). I wish they made them in peas or something else too. We don't have REI, Whole Foods, etc. in my area so we're limited to the Gerber brand.
