DD is 15 mos. and has an ear infection in each ear. Yesterday, the ENT Specialist put her on prednazone and omnicef, which she gets each morning at 3am when she wakes up the first time....and this is my problem.
She is normally an 11-12 hours a night sleeper, but for the last week, DD hasn't slept more than 5-6 hours a night. She's normally not fussy, just not wanting to sleep. I figured the ears were bothering her, so I gave her Motrin like her dr. said to. I've let her have a bottle, we rock...nothing works. We are up for the day every morning between 4-4:45am. How can I get her back on track?? I have a humidifier in the room if she happens to be congested, and she takes her medicine in the AM so she won't be up at night...what else can I do?
Do ya'll think this is something I just need to wait out? DH leaves for work at 5am, so I am alone & exhausted! Please help!
