DS is almost 8 wks. old and he has smiled, but dosn't do it regularly yet. Should I be concerned? I feel like he should be smiling and giggling all the time... or am i just crazy?! TIA!

No, not to worry. :)

My older daughter did everything by the book - smiled at 6 weeks, crawled at 8 months, took first steps at 10 months, walking by 12.5 months... you get the picture.

My youngest didn't smile regularly until about 10 weeks I think, crawled at almost 11 months, and is just now learning to pull up at 11 months.

Oh and my youngest is perfectly healthy.

no, you have NOTHING to worry about ;) . My ds smiled a *little* around 7-8 weeks, but nothing really consistant. He laughed out loud for the first time around 11 weeks and started being free with the smiles somewhere around there too...no worries, you little guy will be there before you no it!:) And congrats, by the way!
