ACL injury??

Hi

My 2 year old Bassett hound is currently at the vet with a possible ACL injury. Has anyone ever had a dog that had this? Did they have to do surgery, and if so around how much $$ was it? Was the recovery painful?

He is such a sweet dog and I feel so badly for him.

my dog just went through two knee replacement surgeries which were both very successful and slightly expensive. not too painful though.

I don't really have an answer for you but I was wondering what the outcome was? I love Bassett Hounds. . they are so floppy!!! I hope everything is okay.
