So I broke down and bought the PIS... when i was in BRU i saw they have a dizzying array of accessories... do you think there is anything additional i need to buy in advance of giving birth so that ill be all ready? or does the pump come with adequate stuff...
TIA

I would get a backup pair of membranes (the round vinyl thingies on the yellow valve part) and a pair of valves. In my 14 months of pumping, those were the only items I needed to replace.

It depends how often you're pumping. I pumped at work, and so I had an extra pair of horns and whatever the attachment piece between the horns and the bottle is called. I *think* there is an extra pair of valves with the kit, but that is a good thing to have if not. More bottles, obviously. If you use Avent bottles for feeding there is a converter kit so you can attach the Avents right to the pump instead of transferring.

I purchased and used my car adapter fairly frequently. It allows you to plug in your pump to the cigarette lighter in a car. When traveling for business sometimes the only "private" place I could get to pump was in my rental car.
Other than that I did buy/use extra membranes.

Any recommendations for a good hands-free bra? Now that I am back at working and pumping there several times a day, I'd like to be able to read something while I am pumping. Thanks.

I meant to add that I have used the adaptor several times as well.

I used the Easy Expressions one (just do a google search and you'll find several places to buy it online). It zips in the front so is easy to put on--well worth the $30 or so.
