Hey there! I think maybe we should wait until our December Mommies moderators come around, so they can set up a group. That way they can register under a unique username so more than one person can be moderator and have access. Then, all of our profiles and other info can be brought over from the WC. Is that okay with you, Cookie777?

WC/LJ December Mods: If you need help moderating, I'll be happy to do what I can. Just let me know.

PS: If we do start a group, there's a "Groups" forum somewhere on this board. :)

Oh yeah that's fine.. I was kind of wondering how that would work because I figured that they wouldn't be able to moderate if I posted.

So we'll just cancel this thread when they get there. I was just wondering if anyone else from the December group was here yet & wanted us to be able to find each other..but I definitely don't want to be in charge of the group..

Are they on their way here? Do you know how many of us have made it here so far?

Part of me wants to say it will be confusing for some ppl who barely knew LJ and have not even gotten to see the new journal here yet to realize we've moved - again.

I'd like to stay on LJ...but if the majority of folks want to move, that's fine. I don't know those new boards well though so I doubt I would want to be a moderator there. I did sign up on that new site but I had no intention of moving the new thread there too (especially after using up nearly a whole workday setting up the LJ here! LOL...but that's my own fault for not doing work I was supposed to be doing...haha).

Since not a lot of folks post on the wkds...I'm sure we'll get more responses on Monday. I'm going to vote for staying on LJ...if ppl want to go there and post too thats fine, but I know some folks are still planning on posting on WC too...do we want to spread out over three boards?

Also, I already had lawyerlee put a link to this new dec05wcmommies LiveJournal in the wc_parenting LJ that was created. I don't want to have other dec mommies show up and try to find us and see that we've moved. I guess we can put our profiles on the new site but...I personally am still going to use LJ since the majority of my buddies (WC and LJ) have made it over here.

Plus...with LJ you don't have to worry about just anyone on the internet being able to view your pictures, etc. That in and of itself is the most appealing to me.

Either way - if more ppl are comfy with this format, then that is totally fine with me. Just let me know and I'll shut down the other one so ppl don't post there and wonder why there are no responses.

I don't know. It says that under mine too. It used to say "Junior Member". There's a discussion about it on the Board Questions forum. I've seen one person who has "Way Too Cool" under their name. :)

Remember me? I was a December mommy for a little while right at the beginning. I just wanted to pop in and say hi and see how you all are doing. It's amazing that you all are already in your 2nd trimesters! Time flies!! I probably won't post often here, but you can bet I will be popping in every now and then to see your growing bellies! Wishing you all the best of luck with the rest of your pregnancies and I hope to be able to join a mommy thread again soon!!

I'm fine with either LJ or here. Whatever the consensus is.. I saw the post on LJ saying we were moving here..so I came over here..but I'll go to whatever site is decided upon. I'm just trying to chase all of you December mommies around! ;) Let me know what the final decision is & I'll be there! :D

Hey Guys, I just registered, too. I'm not too savvy with LJ, either, so whatever you guys decide is fine. I kind of like this one better as it seems to have a lot of the same features as LJ, but I'm flexible either way! :)

It seems we have a relatively even split - although it's leaning the way of this place. That's totally fine. I know a few of us though, won't be posting belly shots in here and will still be posting mostly on LJ - we'll still lurk around here though. So I guess it's gonna be a 'go where you want' kind of thing!
