View Full Version : Who's ready for HP 4???!!!

I saw a TV trailer the other day and a movie trailer over the weekend. It looks wonderful!! I know a lot will be cut out because of how long the book is, but I think the new director has the right idea.

I am so excited and I just can't wait to see it. I hope it doesn't disappoint me like 3 did....

To be honest, ALL three of the previous movies have disappointed me. I mean, I can enjoy them for what they are, especially if I have a kid with me, but.....they are nowhere NEAR as good as the books. But that's pretty much always the case, isn't it?
That said, I'm sure I'll see it as soon as it opens!

I agree...they are never as good as the books. I never read books 1 and 2 so I loved the movies. I LOVED books 3-6. I just love seeing it all live and I LOVE Daniel Radcliffe. Some of the stuff is hard to imagine but the movie makes it so real! Hopefully we won't be disappointed!

I am excited :) I was a reluctant fan at first but after seeing the first 3 then reading the books, it got me into it. It was so good to enjoy the movies, then be able to picture them, get more info when I read the books. I have the 4th book on my iPod but can't listen to it until after the movie! lol

I haven't read any of the books, but have seen movies 1-3. One was okay, two totally sucked, but 3 rocked. From the previews for 4, it looks like it's goign to be really good. My DD will want to see it (she's read all the books so far), but it will probably be after the craze is over.

I'm excited but scared. I was so pumped about 3 and was counting down months ahead, but was soooo disappointed and crushed when it was so bad. And the more I watch 1 and 2 I see how terrible they were plot-wise as well... 4 is my fave book and I'm scared to see how they'll butcher it. Although the last preview I saw actually gave me hope..
