Vegas themed party on Friday - need appetizer ideas please

DH and I are throwing a Vegas themed couples shower on Friday night for a co-worker of his. The groom-to-be goes to Vegas four times a year, so we thought it was a good theme.

We're making steak and shrimp for dinner (going with the whole vegas "you can get a steak for 50 cents" type of thing).

I have no clue what to do for appetizers. I was thinking of making bruschetta, but beyond that I'm lost. I'd like something to fit the theme, but I'd also like something different than chips/veggies and dip.

Any thoughts? I don't need many - we're only having about 16 people, but we're having it after work at dinner time.
