Silly question but...
Our house has vinyl siding. Some time over the summer, during a wind storm, something must've crashed into our siding. There's now a small (say, 4 inches wide) hole in one piece of the siding.
We've been meaning to fix it, but don't know how. Now that we (just today!) are getting snow, we need to get on it. We have extra siding in the garage. Can we just pull the damages piece of siding off and replace it, or are all the pieces "connected" (i.e., if we want to take out one piece, we have to take out all the ones above (or below) it to get to the damaged piece?
