The bouquet I am very strongly considering.. has hydrangeas in it. (It was butterfly0202's bouquet)

I don't remember her saying anything bad about the hydrangea's.... but lately I've been reading that they don't stand up well? Aren't good out of water?

Looking at her bouquet, it didn't have the little water resevoir......

Anyone have hydranea experience to share please??

My bouquet was all Hydrangea and it held up as long as it needed to. The flowers were picked up at three, the ceremony was at 5:30 add to that all the pictures that were taken after the ceremony. After all that they were looking pretty limp, but they served their purpose and I was happy with that.

Good luck with your decision! :)

I had hydrangeas in my bouquet, and they held up beautifully.

Here's a pic:

I also had hydrangas in my bouquet and they held up just fine. By the end of the day, it seemed they might have started to turn, but they lasted the whole day just fine. Good Luck!

My BM's had a hydrangea "collar" in their bouquets, and they all broke. Now, that may have just been teh kind that were used, or the way they were put together. I think hydrangeas *in* a bouquet will hold up, but aorund the edges they can break. The "inner" branches of a hydrangea bunch are very frangile.

Talk to your florist, and ask what their opinion and their experience with them is.
