Recently, I saw a commercial advertising a "tool" called something like "laserit" or "masterit". It was a laser level as well as a "gripper"/"holder" function and I think there was one other function. I think it was $49. Anyway, at the time I thought it would make a great Christmas gift for DH, but of course didn't catch any info on it. I haven't seen the ad again! UGH!

Can you help? TIA!

I saw an ad for it too, only I just caught the tail end of it. I can't remember what it was called. If I see it again, I'll let you know. Good luck!

Sure! I asked Mark if he remembered seeing it (we both commented on it when we saw it), and he remembered it was from Home Depot.

Sears also has quite a nice line of tools;including the laser level that has a suction cup. Might be slightly different; but there are many places with those types of things now.
