The boy got sprayed last night.
I've had every single window open all night long. Some smell still remails -- what do you use to get rid of the stink?
(He is fine. He happened to go out the back door for his last pee and descended the porch stairs as the skunk rounded a corner. He ran up to hit, grabbed it by the nape of the neck and got a good piece of it.
He's got the good piece of it and he's not letting up. I'm screaming at him "ELVIS! PUT THAT DOWN! NO....LEAVE IT" and he only got the message when the thing let loose and started to spray him.
Emergency vet said get a quart of hydrogen peroxide, a quarter cup of baking soda and a tablespoon of liquid soap to deskunk him. He's fine. His eyes were smarting and he was foaming at the mouth but that's all.
All this at 2:30 in the morning -- I had just gotten in and I figured let him out for his last pee. By the time I ran down to get the stuff to deskunk him and then washed him down, it was well after 3:30 am)
