Madonna: Secret on MTV

Hey did anyone watch that? I was a huge Madonna fan in the 80's but as she changed I sort of became disenchanted with her behavior etc. Wacthing the show sort of changed my mind about her in a positive light. She does not seem as high maintenance as I once thought. She does not seem as crazy with her kids as I thought as well. Hey her daughter is fluent in 3 languages What the :eek: lol

I really enjoyed it! Great show if you have an extra two hours that is.

Well, DH & I loved it! It was so great to see all the stuff that went into creating and putting on her show. Even my DH said he'd pay to go see her after seeing it.

I also liked seeing how she's sort of a real person. I mean, who hasn't been stuck somewhere cuz their hubby wouldn't take them home? ;) I can see why she married him though. He probably helps to keep her grounded.

Loved the concert footage. I love that she obviously sings. Her voice sounded good. I was impressed - particularly with this one song she sang with the guitar in front of her band. You wounldn't happen to know what song that was, would you cocopops?

I saw it! And I LOVED it. I am a huge Madonna fan, have been forever. I loved watching this. I liked the balance of entertainment and serious world issues. I went to her ReInvention Tour twice last year, so it was like seeing her show all over again.

MsPeachy, I think you might be talking about Nothing Fails.

I loved her interacting with her kids. And Guy Ritchie is a riot.

omg, when was the show? I only saw one commercial for it and completely spaced out as to when it was going to air! I really hope they show it again this week. I cannot wait for her new album to come out!!!!!!!!!!

I saw the documentary. I think VH1 is airing it again later this week. Is there another show that I am missing?

I thought they were one and the same. MTV aired the documentary last Friday.

I heart Madonna. Even when she gets wacky & political, I still love her. And I respect her for what she's accomplished throughout her career. There aren't too many musical artists or entertainers I feel that way about.

One thing I learned from the show was about her parents. I never knew they owned a vineyard & winery. I thought she'd had a more mundane upbringing. They showed a pic of her as a child and Lourdes looks so much like she did.
