I copied this from Kristin's journal on the E! site:
Princes of Malibu (Fox, premieres July 10): It's like The Simple Life, except these high-life hotties, Brandon and Brody Jenner, are driving their own stepfather (instead of some other family) insane. Stepdad just so happens to be David Foster, a Grammy winner who owns a $70 million Malibu Beach compound, otherwise known as the nonstop party palace to his freeloading stepsons, who, at 23 (Brandon) and 21 (Brody) have never held a real job, something that would make them hatable, if only they weren't so adorable.
Rock Star: INXS (CBS, premieres July 11): No tapes are out yet for this one, but hey, it's American Idol, Mark Burnett-style. My guess is that it will, at the very least, be infinitely more watchable than WB comedy, Mark Burnett-style. Frankly, I never met a Burnett reality show I didn't like. You?
So You Think You Can Dance (Fox, premieres July 20): Again, it's American Idol-esque. In fact, this one is from Idol's producers, but easier on the ears because it's dancers. And more importantly, no Paula Abdul. I'm there!
Kill Reality (E!, premieres July 25): Picture this: Ethan Zohn (swoon) of Survivor and Bachelor Bob living in a house and shooting a horror film (I'm not kidding) with the likes of Real World bad girls Trishelle and Tonya. Brillllliant, I say! And not just because this comes from my very own homies here at E! Don't tell anyone, but I will find a way into that house. Shhhh...
Tommy Lee Goes to College (NBC, premieres Aug. 16): Pamela Anderson's on-off loverboy pimps out his dorm room, crushes on his hot tutor and joins the college band. It's nowhere near flashy enough to be the next Survivor or American Idol, but come on, watching the infamous sausage man squeeze his buns into a polyester band uniform is just good fun!
