I copied this from Kristin's journal on the E! site:

Princes of Malibu (Fox, premieres July 10): It's like The Simple Life, except these high-life hotties, Brandon and Brody Jenner, are driving their own stepfather (instead of some other family) insane. Stepdad just so happens to be David Foster, a Grammy winner who owns a $70 million Malibu Beach compound, otherwise known as the nonstop party palace to his freeloading stepsons, who, at 23 (Brandon) and 21 (Brody) have never held a real job, something that would make them hatable, if only they weren't so adorable.

Rock Star: INXS (CBS, premieres July 11): No tapes are out yet for this one, but hey, it's American Idol, Mark Burnett-style. My guess is that it will, at the very least, be infinitely more watchable than WB comedy, Mark Burnett-style. Frankly, I never met a Burnett reality show I didn't like. You?

So You Think You Can Dance (Fox, premieres July 20): Again, it's American Idol-esque. In fact, this one is from Idol's producers, but easier on the ears because it's dancers. And more importantly, no Paula Abdul. I'm there!

Kill Reality (E!, premieres July 25): Picture this: Ethan Zohn (swoon) of Survivor and Bachelor Bob living in a house and shooting a horror film (I'm not kidding) with the likes of Real World bad girls Trishelle and Tonya. Brillllliant, I say! And not just because this comes from my very own homies here at E! Don't tell anyone, but I will find a way into that house. Shhhh...

Tommy Lee Goes to College (NBC, premieres Aug. 16): Pamela Anderson's on-off loverboy pimps out his dorm room, crushes on his hot tutor and joins the college band. It's nowhere near flashy enough to be the next Survivor or American Idol, but come on, watching the infamous sausage man squeeze his buns into a polyester band uniform is just good fun!

I've never watched Big Brother, what's like? It's about kind of like Surreal Life and Real World, right? Or I'm way off??

Big Brother starts out with 12 houseguest who have no access to TV, radio, newspapers/magazines, phone, family, etc. for 8 weeks or so. They have to compete to become Head of Household and win other titles to keep them safe from being evicted.

They have to win contests to get food for the week. If they lose they eat PB&J for the week. Yuck!

People have to start alliances to stay in the game and it gets really interesting. Way better than Surreal Life or Real World in my opinion.

You can see more at cbs.com.

I don't think they have the bios up yet. They didn't last week, but they do have a video of the houseguests. I haven't watched it so let me know!

Anyone know about when America's Next Top Model or Apprentice will be starting again?

Alioop- I know that the 'Martha' version of Apprentice is scheduled to begin soon but I'm not sure when exactly.

There's another summer reality show (about on-line dating) that's going to be starting (on ABC I *think* ) It looks kind of chaotic because of the large number of people involved in the show. I just don't think you can follow 12 people. How will we keep them all straight?

On the other hand, the new Bridezillas episode (tonight 10pm WE channel) is awesome! My TIVO actually finds and records it for me a day early (don't know why WE plays it early, but whatever) and I watched it yesterday night. Too out of control!

Week Ahead: Bobby Brown's Reality Check (http://people.aol.com/people/articles/0,19736,1077026,00.html)

TUESDAY, JUNE 28: Will the nice guy finish first on NBC's reality series Average Joe: The Joes Strike Back? In the fourth installment of the reality show, 18 regular Joes will attempt to win the heart of a woman who, off camera, might be out of their league. The new Joes include a circus sideshow freak and a magician, and the object of their affection is Anna, a 26-year-old red-headed model. They'll do battle with a brigade of seven hunks, but in a twist, the Average Joes will get a makeover to win over the dream girl. The dating drama premieres at 8 p.m. ET.

THURSDAY, JUNE 30: It's his prerogative to star in a reality show, so he's going for it. "I just wanted to give people a clear view of who I am," Bobby Brown tells PEOPLE about his new eight-episode Bravo series, Being Bobby Brown. The show follows the infamous singer as he goes about his life for six months in 2004. Wife Whitney Houston appears on the show, as do his children – Bobbi Kristina, 12 (with Houston), Landon, 18, LaPrincia, 16, and Bobby Jr., 14 (from previous relationships). Big moments include courtroom visits (among his brushes with the law, he faced charges of misdemeanor battery against Houston, which she dropped), a meeting with the Dalai Lama in London (now that's a must-see pairing) and Brown trying to get his career back on track. Being Bobby Brown premieres at 10 p.m. ET.

Anybody watching "Average Joe"? I haven't watched it before, but I accidentally got sucked into the first episode tonight. Boy, the first guy she booted was an ass, and the magician was such a goober.

Little Fred - I caught it (by accident) and thought it was 'ok.' With all of the other shows I am addicted to I don't know if I'll be a regular viewer, but I agree with your observations!!
