We are thinking of having a small World Series party this Saturday. Since this is very last minute I am wondering what type of snacks we can have, aside from the usual chips & dip.

Has anyone had a baseball party and what did you serve...if anything unique?

I am sure we will have chips, salsa, dip, beer, soda, etc.

TIA~

Don't feel stupid! It would be a crime not to have Chicago style dogs, though. :)

For sportign events, I like to make my favorite beer dip. It's basically beer, grated cheddar chees, cream cheese, and ranch dressing mix. Serve it with pretzels as the dippers.

DH and I held a sports themed shower last year - more around the baseball persuasion. :)

We had:
Nachos
Hot Dogs
Cracker Jacks
Soft pretzels and cheese
Loaded french fries
Cotton candy

DH wanted to charge $6 for a beer as a joke. We didn't, but we did make sure to buy the plastic beer bottles. You're going to have the game going, but I'd say try to do little bets on the side. Maybe 50 cents on how many pitches the pitcher will throw in that half inning.

We had some Harry Carey going on the stereo (the groom is a Cubs fan) but you could do impersonations of the announcers or something too.

well, we had our little get-together this weekend and really didn't go over the top. We just had the usual chips/pretzels/dip and ordered a pizza, lol. No imagination used there :)
