Actors you cannot stand to watch

I was just reading the “And the Oscar for worst movie goes to….” thread, and wondered about actors/actresses you cannot stand. The people who, if you know they have a major role in a movie, will stop you from seeing it.

I’ll start with:

Tom Hanks - cannot watch him ever again. Forrest Gumpwas the turning point, HATED that movie because of him.
Owen Wilson - after watching Wedding Crashers, he should be banned from film sets forever
Sylvester Stallone - that's not acting

Well the big winner has to be Tom Cruise.

I also can't stand anything with Woody Harrelson or Chris Tucker in it. They are both amazingly annoying!! And anything directed by Quentin "I keep doing the same thing over and over and think I'm being creative" Tarantino. (He goes for the long nicknames.)

That said, I'm very tempted to see the movie about the female mine workers, but Woody is in that so I'm conflicted. :confused:

Oh this is easy...has to be Drew Barrymore, she lost me after E.T. and for men, without a doubt, Jim Carrey. The only movie of his that I liked was Man on the Moon, and that was because he was Andy Kauffman, whom I love! :)
I will not watch movies that have actors I adore in them simply because I know that one of those two will be in it. The few times I have caved, I have kicked myself repeatedly for being so dumb, and have vowed not to be so weak again! :p

I get so frustrated whenever I attempt to watch "Four Weddings and a Funeral," because I just want to slap Hugh Grant and yell at him for mooning over someone with the personality of a paper plate.

Matthew McC: He seems pretty smart, so why is he such a lousy actor?

Tara Reid: Her arc on "Scrubs" was a rare but HUGE misstep for that show. She's not even close to funny. Sad, yes. Funny, no.

Sarah Michelle Gellar: She seems to think she's a much better actor than she is. I've never been the slightest bit interested in anything she's done.

Jennifer Love Hewitt: You are SO not Audrey Hepburn.

Angelina Jolie: I feel like she's so obviously acting in everything she does that it's impossible to just get into the movie.

Then there's a whole list of 20-something actresses who I don't think are that bad, just overexposed and taking parts away from other, unknown actors who might be better: Katie Holmes, Kirsten Dunst, Julia Stiles, etc.

It's amazing the depths Tom Cruise has fallen to (in my book). I too was watching Cocktail this weekend and I didn't even think of him in that movie as the same nut-job who made a scene on the Today Show and Oprah. Or the guy who dares to criticize the choices of women suffering PPD. UGH! He's a totally different person now. I refuse to see any of his new movies.

While I don't think Hugh Grant is the most talented actor, I really liked him in Bridget Jones (1 & 2) and Love Actually. I guess I'm a sucker for his crooked teeth.
