BF and I are from NC but are currently in Daytona Beach, FL finishing up school. His job requires him to be in Pompano Beach, FL about 70% of the time. He usually leaves on Thrusdays and comes back on Sundays so he is gone the whole weekend. I was under the impression that we would be going back to NC as soon as I was finished with school. Now, it seems like plans may have changed and we could be staying in FL longer than anticipated because of BF's job.
If we stay chances are we'll be moving south of here. His job is in Pompano Beach but it also requires him to travel a lot. I in return would like us to just move and be closer to his job. I'm a photography major so I can do mine practically anywhere. My problem is I'm unfamilar with the surrounding areas.
What areas are around, but not too far from Pompano Beach? We'd like to be in a nice area with newer homes. Possibly in a gated community if it isn't that far away. Most likely we'll buy if the houses and areas are nice enough and resale value is okay. If anyone has any information on the area it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!
