Favorite dress: An Esprit dress I snagged on sale several years (oh gosh, maybe over a decade) ago when Esprit was still a sought after brand name. It is sleeveless, calf lenghth, jewel neck, with a zipper in the back. It has a black background with hot pink flowers with red and purple in them and yellow centers. The leaves are two shades of emerald green. I have worn it for various occasions and I always get compliments on it. It is the thing I feel most beautiful in.

Favorite top: A light blue t-shirt that fits really well and makes my upper half look good. I can wear it with jeans, but it also goes with other pants and skirts that I own. It was actually a hand-me-down!

Favorite bottom: A pair of beige pants from Ann Taylor that I bought not long ago. My weight has really been fluctuating lately, and I bought those after a serious weight gain. They fit really well and when people see me in them they say, "Damn, you look good!" as opposed to "OMG, you've gained a lot of weight!"

Favorite shoes: I used to not pay attention to footwear, but when my body started changing too fast for me to keep up with clothing, I discovered why so many women have a shoe fetish. It's because your feet don't get fat the way the rest of your body does. Now I have quite a lot of shoes, and I love them all!, but the most "unexpected" pair for me is a pair of leopard print slides that I actually paid full price for because they "called to me". Usually I think that leopard print looks a little trashy, but these shoes, I love. And everyone notices them on me because they are not the kind of shoes people expect to see me wear.

Favorite coat: After spending, like, the last twenty years in hand-me-down coats (which were nice, but not of my own choosing) I bought a coat last year that I love. It is a black wool full-length coat, fully lined, with a detachable dark brown faux fur collar by Ralph Lauren. I love it, and so does everybody else who sees me in it.

Favorite purse: My favorite purse is a small, no-name, $25 purse that everyone thinks is a designer purse for some reason. It is black linen with leather handles that are attached with silver buckles. The bottom is leather and the top trim is also leather. It is stitched with contrast stitching which I think looks neat. It is lined with contrast red cotton with a zippered pocket on one side and two open pockets on the other side.

Favorite accessory: Kenneth Cole sunglasses with tortoiseshell rectangular shaped rims with amber lenses. My uncle used to make eyeglasses for a living and when I was little (under 5 yrs old) he made me my very own pair of sunglasses with tortoiseshell rims. My sunglasses weren't the cheap, plastic kind the other kids wore, mine were like what the adults wore. I felt so big and grown-up in those sunglasses. Oh how I loved them. To this day, I have a great fondness for tortoiseshell rims.... And the shape of the frames on my current pair makes me look especially cool.

Favorite dress: My wedding gown. I doubt I'll ever buy another ballgown again in my life. I still like taking the box out to look at it.
Favorite top: Heather gray cashmere v-neck sweater. Slimming and so soft.
Favorite bottom: Hmmm....I'll have to get back to you on that one...
Favorite shoes: Rhinestone encrusted mules -- I've only worn them about 3 or 4 times but they are so gorgeous -- DH finds them very sexy.
Favorite coat: I don't wear coats much in Southern California but I have a really pretty black satin trench my mom bought for me last XMAS that should last a lifetime.
Favorite purse: My Speedy 30 -- with any luck it'll last forever
Favorite accessory: Tie between my diamond studs or stainless watch. Not that they are my favorite, I just wear them both every day because I don't have any other watch or earrings!

Favorite dress: Actually, it's pants. It's a formal pant/dress thing that I found at a resale shop in college. I've worn it for just about every formal event I've attended since then and always feel dressed to the nines and very sexy in it. DH LOVES it.
Favorite top: My black ribbed turtleneck sweater from the GAP.
Favorite bottom: Eddie Bauer jeans I bought this September...so comfortable but sexy too
Favorite shoes: My Manolo Blahniks, black silk with a little rhinestone accent. So comfortable, so Carrie. I nearly had to kill my dog when he chewed one of the heels (I have no idea how he got the shoe). Luckily I found a good shoe hospital and they were able to fix it (unfortunately, they redid the insole so now the only one that knows they're Manolos is me) :(
Favorite coat: My black wool dress coat with a fur trimmed hood
Favorite purse: A tie, either my Michael Kors tote or my Coach black signature extra large duffle...I call them my luggage, I love big purses.
Favorite accessory: My diamond studs (wedding gift) and Aggie Ring.

sposa--i am putting off homework too!

Favorite dress: that's a hard one. i have a problem collecting old dresses on ebay! but i'd have to go with this one:
http://images.costcophotocenter.com/3453%3B68723232%7Ffp5%3Enu%3D3235%3E%3A%3B2%3E%3B4 4%3EWSNRCG%3D32323%3A3655439nu0mrj
vintage silk taffeta dress, with lots of soft pleats and gathered fabric.

Favorite top: an old cashmere-blend tank from Banana. it's black, with a branch-like pattern made out of ivory french-knots. i can go from wearing it to work under a suit to wearing it with jeans at night. it's over 6 yrs old, and still going strong!

Favorite bottom:
hmm. that's a tough one. most of my pants are incredibly boring. gonna have to go with another dressy item!
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b4d737b3127cce9fb3f98a50a400000046138QZuGbVq0Zo
silk skirt by milly. i wore this to 3 weddings in one year, and i am still not sick of it!

Favorite shoes: easy! navy blue & ivory floral d'orsay kitten heels by prada. say that 3 times fast! another item that looks as awesome with work clothes, as it does jeans and a tank top.

Favorite coat: another easy one! black wool coat, that has stars and other designs appliqued to the hem and cuffs, with ornate buttons and crystals scattered across, rebecca taylor. it was a gift from my husband for our first anniversary. i had been eyeing it in a store window, and one day we walked by to look at it and it was gone! i went in the store to ask if they had any others, to find that he had already purchased it over the phone...and they had it wrapped up and waiting for me!

Favorite purse: ? i don't use "purses" a whole lot. i have a black silk moschino purse with a nifty bow on the front that i use for most special occasions.

Favorite accessory: vintage gold bracelet watch. even though i am always forgetting to wind it, and never have a clue as to what time it is!

Favorite dress: A blue dress with pink flowers that I got on super sale at a boutique in The Haight on a trip to SF four years ago. It’s got some stretch to it so it doesn’t gap ay my waist.
Favorite top: a black v-neck sweater that used to be my dad’s. It’s a tall size so it’s nice and long. I’m not sure how it ever fit my dad, though. It’s made out of something called “Orlin.” It wears like iron. I’ve been wearing it once a week in the winter since I stole it from him 10 years ago.
Favorite bottom: Gap long and lean jeans in a dark wash.
Favorite shoes: A pair of black open toe slides that look great with jeans or a nice dress.
Favorite coat: My hot pink fake fur coat that DH bought me when we were dating.
Favorite purse: I only have one purse! It’s black leather with a long strap that I can wear across my body.
Favorite accessory: The garnet pendant (my birth stone) that my mom brought back from Santa Fe.
