Vidal Sassoon-trained stylists?

This is a pretty random question, but does anyone know how to find hair stylists who attended a Vidal Sassoon academy? My stylisr in Los Angeles was Vidal Sassoon trained, and her technique was amazing. I just went to a new stylist in NC who was highly-recommended, and I was not impressed at all. It dawned on me that perhaps it was the Vidal Sassoon training that made the difference.

Is there a database or anything where I could look?

i don't have an answer for you now, but i go to vidal sassoon in NYC (been going there for a loooong time), and i will ask for you at my next appt!

i'm planning on moving away from the east coast next year, and my stylist there has already mentioned a few stylists i could see in new mexico and arizona. (which is pretty funny, because this was not something that worried me in the least... but he was already thinking about it!)

Thanks so much! I'd really appreciate your asking for me. I have, indeed, gone onto the website but haven't had a lot of luck with it -- there doesn't seem to be a directory or anything.

<sigh> I miss VS. I went there in South Beach. I wish they'd open one in Tampa!
