TTCers of ConstantChatter:
Charting Our Course to the BFPs

http://www.ripleysorlando.com/images2/fertilitystatues.jpg
The fertility statues are known to work for some who rub them around the time of possible conception.
It is said that the baby is the most potent part of the statue.

So rub away! :D It's worth a shot!

Who we are:
This is a group of women using charting (temperatures, CM, CP, OPK/FM results, or a combination of these) to try to conceive and, along the way, are learning a heckuvalot about their own bodies! Many of us use a software program to keep track of our charts as well as allowing us to share them with each other. The most common ones are FertitlityFriend.com and Ovusoft.com.

Your threadmistresses for this thread are Mystikal and Lizard!

To our members:
This thread gets very busy at times, so in order to keep things less overwhelming and a bit more organized, we start a new thread each month as well as after 3 BFPs. A link to the new thread is always posted at the end of the current thread to help everyone find their way over. The threadmistress would really appreciate it if everyone would post their updates in Red. That way, if I get a bit behind, it is much quicker to get the thread up-to-date.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

Want to join the fun??
We welcome one and all. It doesn’t matter if you have never charted before or if you’ve been charting to avoid. I am sure you will find lots of help and support in this group.

If you would like to join, CD1 is the time to do it! That way, we can cheer you on
throughout your cycle, rather than 2 days before you test!

Please don't be discouraged by the number of posts in this thread. You don’t have to read the whole thread to join. Feel free to just jump in on the last page. Just read through these first couple of posts and post a reply with the following information and we will get you added right away. Of course, none of this info is a must but we like to know a little bit about one another.

Things I Have Learned About TTC
by WC's Sherylb

* TTC is a journey. You will discover things about yourself that you never expected. You will face fears you never thought you had. You will find joy in little things.

* TTC can bring you closer to your DH, or it can pull you apart. If your marriage is not solid, you will find out quickly.

* No one understands exactly what you are feeling at any given moment, but someone can empathize at least a little bit.

* You will experience an emotional roller coaster ride. There will be highs and lows and fast moments and slow. Sometimes you have to wait in a very, very slow moving line. You may not even get the seat you want. It is not always fun, it can be scary, but in the end it is worth it.

* "Just relax" is the last thing in the world you want to hear from someone, but it is OK if you say it about yourself.

* There will be moments when you question your own decision to start TTC. You will wonder if you should wait or if you should just give up. Those are normal. But you will get past those feelings.

* The blue and green turtle likes to pop its head out! You will hear of someone's pregnancy and turn green with envy and blue inside because it isn't you.

* It isn't fair, it isn't easy, and it isn't pretty. But you keep doing it because the reward is worth it.

* You will be your best friend and your worst enemy. Your body will
surprise you and yet disappoint you.

* Some women do get lucky and conceive right away. Others aren't so lucky and have to struggle to get there. Hope you will be in the first category, but prepare yourself to be in the second.

* Once you decide to TTC, there will be babies and pregnant women everywhere! You could swear there is a baby boom going on!

* You will have questions. No one will ever be in exactly your position, so don't be surprised when no one can give you exactly the answer you are looking for. But there are people that can contribute, so don't be afraid to ask!

* Two lines on a pregnancy test is not the end of the struggle. Pregnancy has lots of struggles in and of itself.

- Common TTC abbreviations

This is a list of some of the more common TTC abbreviations. I know as a newcomer to the TTC threads, it can be hard to keep them all straight. I hope these will help, and if anyone has any they would like added, please let me know!

•2WW: "2 week wait" - The approximate time from possible conception to menstruation due date; Pregnancy tests should be taken near the end of the 2WW.
•AF: "Aunt Flo"; Your period; Menstruation
•AFNW: "Aunt Flo Not Wanted"; the day your period is expected to start, but you are hoping it doesn't!
•AO: anovulatory (cycle without ovulation)
•BBs: "boobs"; breasts
•BBL: "be back later"
•BBT: Basal Body Thermometer; This is used to measure your basal body temperature, when you wake up in the morning, after at least 3 hours of sleep, before you start to move around; Use a special BBT thermometer to take your temperature because they measure the small changes in temperature from day to day more accurately than the regular fever thermometers.
•BCP: Birth control pills
•BD'ing: "baby dancing"; baby-making intercourse
•BFN: "Big Fat Neutral" or “Big Fat Negative”; Negative pregnancy test.
•BF'ing: breast-feeding
•BRB: "be right back"
•CD: cycle day; a particular day in your menstrual cycle (example: CD1 is the first day of your period)
•CL: Cover Line; a visual tool used to separate the low (pre-ovulatory) temps from high (post-ovulatory) temps; a coverline is typically based on the temperatures 6 days prior to ovulation.
•CM: cervical mucous; one of the most useful clues your body can give you in predicting your fertility; it can range from dry, creamy, sticky, or (the most fertile) egg white/watery type.
•CF: cervical fluid; same as cervical mucus
•CP: cervical position; an optional, but sometimes really useful, fertility sign; CP will generally be low, firm and closed before and after ovulation, and high, soft and open during your fertile time.
•DD: "dear daughter"
•DH: "dear husband"
•DS: "dear son"
•DPO: Days Past Ovulation; number of days from your post-ovulatory temperature rise. (Example: 1DPO is the day after your ovulation)
•Endo: endometriosis (can be a fertility problem)
•EDC and EDD: estimated date of confinement (antiquated, but still used by physicians) and estimated date of delivery
•EPT: a brand of pregnancy test, or, generic for "early pregnancy test"
•EW or EWCM: egg white cervical mucus; the most fertile quality CM; it is slippery, clear and stretchy, like egg whites; also EWCF
•FAM: Fertility Awareness Method; the method of fertility and/or birth control that correlates the physical changes you experience during your cycle to predict when you are most fertile
•FF: Fertility Friend, an online (free, for basic services) fertility charting site (website); (could also be formula feeding; check context)
•FM: fertility monitor
•FMU: first morning urine
•FP: follicular phase; the phase before ovulation, where the egg matures in the ovaries
•FRED: First Response Early Detection (pregnancy test)
•HCG: human chorionic gonadotropin; the hormone that is present during pregnancy and what the HPT's and blood test measure to determine if you are pregnant
•HTH: "hope that helps"
•HPT: home pregnancy test; a urine pregnancy test you can take at home
•IMHO: "in my humble opinion"
•IMO: "in my opinion"
•IUI: intra-uterine insemination
•IVF: in vitro fertilization
•KU: knocked up
•LH: leutenizing hormone; the LH surge is what is measured by the OPKs; this hormone signals the egg to burst from the ovary
•LP: luteal phase; the phase of your cycle that begins just after ovulation and continues for 10-18 days, ending with the start of your next period; during the LP, your body continues to build up the lining of your uterus, and produce hormones which would support a pregnancy; this is the time when a fertilized egg can implant into the uterine lining
•NFP: Natural Family Planning; similar to FAM, but with abstinence during the fertile period
•O, Oing, Oed: ovulation, ovulating, or ovulated
•OPK: ovulation predictor kit; tests for presence of LH surge that usually precedes ovulation by 12-48 hours; these tests are quite expensive and not always accurate (if you take medication or depending on your age); these are optional when charting with FF, but if your fertility data is not clear it can bring more light and help interpret difficult cases
•OS: Ovusoft; charting software based on TCOYF
•PCOS: polycystic ovarian syndrome (a fertility problem)
•PG: pregnant
•PIAC: pee in a cup
•POAS: pee on a stick
•RE: reproductive endocrinologist
•SA: semen analysis
•SH: "sweet husband"
•SO: "significant other"
•SYS, SYL : See ya soon! or See ya later!
•TCOYF: Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler; a book and website about charting and fertility.
•TMI: "too much information" - There is no such thing when TTC!
•TTA: "trying to avoid"
•TTC: "trying to conceive"
•TTFN: "ta-ta for now"
•TTYL, TTYS: "talk to you later" or "talk to you soon"

POST AWAY!!

Wrighty26
10-12-2005, 06:13 AM
Am I first?? Woo-hoo!

In anycase-- I posted this in the old thread, but then realized that a new thread had been started:

Gator - I'm more inclined to say that you O'd yesterday-- rather than on CD 10... I guess tomorrow's temp will really tell-- would it be bad if you started taking the progesterone tomorrow?

Mystikal - Good luck with the obsessing! I think that a temp dip on 7 DPO is a great thing!!!

Thanks everyone for the kind words :D I don't want to guys to get the wrong idea-- I definitely had a little pity party for myself last night (there was a couple of margaritas involved). Although, I have to say- today I feel much better. It helps that I got to talk to my DH about it. He was supportive and said that he would back and decision that I made. If I wanted to do the HSG, then I would do it- no questions.

I'm still undecided on what I should. I'm contemplating seeing another Dr. rather getting the HSG/going to the RE. It bothers me that I had a completely NORMAL (and exactly 26 day) cycle from October-March and then BAM- nothing. I did only 1 cycle of Clomid-- which worked except for the whole thinning of my uterine lining-- and then 1 cycle of Femara @ 2.5g-- and now I'm infertile? Excuse me while I vent -- I kinda worked all this stuff out while I was running this morning (it kinda made me angry that my Dr wants to move on to an infertility diagnosis so quickly--so I had a great workout!).

Anyways-- I don't want to say that I'm definitely going to ovulate this month-- but I feel good about it. I'm thinking if it does happen it will be in the next 3-5 days...so wish me luck!!

Wow a new thread already! This group moves so fast!
I was just stopping in to say that AF is here now, so please move me to "Waiting to O" Thanks!

I have what I'm calling a 'preconception checkup' with a new OB?GYN today. And it took me 6 weeks to get the appt, so I'm sure as heck not cancelling on account of AF. I really just wanted to go in and meet the Doc and talk a bit, get to know her before we get PG again. Anyway, I'm rambling. Hopefully with this fresh thread I can keep up a little better!

Good morning, everyone. I stopped by the old thread and was so touched by all the good wishes you all are sending my way. Gator, your message was so sweet. And polkadot, I so appreciate your support especially since I know last cycle was such a disappointment for you. You guys really are the best. Good luck Bellefior!

I was reading about a woman on another message board last night. She just lost her battle with breast cancer :( I just wanted to remind everyone to do their monthly exams. I'm sure you already do them but I just wanted to mention it!;)

Have a great day!

Reposting from last thread for more input:
Quick fly by to ask for some help. After putting in today's temp, FF called O for CD12 (with dotted crosshairs). Can you guys look at my chart and give me your input, pretty please? b/c if that is correct, then I'm supposed to start the progesterone today. .. but I'm not fully convinced b/c of yesterday's lower temperature.

My CM has been pretty weak (but I haven't been drinking as much water). I have been having trouble with semen vs. EWCM interpretation so there are some days marked C that could be EWCM?? I don't know. Can you sense the panic/confusion in my voice?

I have not had all my typical O indicators other than a dull ache on each side. I have yet to learn my "new normal" since the lap. was supposed to take care of the pain.

ETA: put data into Ovusoft and it doesn't call O. Do you think FF is smoking crack again?
Any and all help would be appreciated.

thanks for the help ladies.

Just checking in!
Congrats to all the BFPs from last thread!!
As for me, my body is still f*ing with me... I guess not having AF for over 2 months makes for a very long AF this cycle... sigh... I feel bad, my DH tried to get cuddly yesterday and I wanted none of it... I'm just sort of embarassed by my body's lack of cooperation right now and wasn't in the mood to explain that I STILL had AF.

I am going to make an Appt w/ my OBGYN today - I've had enough.
Off to stalk some charts.

I spot the MBFP too! Congrats!

CT's_punkin, wow- that is a really long AF. I think its a good decision to make an appt with your OB. I don't know if I could deal with AF that long! I hope you'll be able to find out what's up soon. Good luck!

gator97, I'm not really sure if you O'd or not. I'm not too good at this yet, but it looks like you might have based on your CM. It seems like Ovusoft takes a much longer time to call O than FF does. Frustrating! I'm sorry I'm not much help! I think if it were me, I'd start the progesterone.

klav, it could be the weather affecting your temps. They aren't too much lower than your last cycle. I would just wait and see, and maybe test it out by warming up the room?

Big temp drop for me today and I'm sure AF is on her way, so threadmistress, could you just move me to waiting to O? Thanks.

Hello everyone!

I think I might be the MBFP!

we tested late last night just on a whim and it was the faintest line you have ever seen. and I used First Response! it was so light that when you tilted it into the light, it totally disappeared. my DH saw the line but wasn't convinced it wasn't an error on the test. (I tried to tell him a line is a line  ) anyway- woke up this morning, temp was still high for me so I tested using the digital. . sure enough. BFP!!!

I am so suprised since I don't have any symptoms! no sore BB's, not really that much more tired than usual, no nausea. just business as usual with no AF but definitely AF-like cramping. anyway- we are being very cautious as both of my previous pregnancies ended in m/c. I am feeling really good about this one though!

thanks for all the congratulations! hoping for more BFP's here soon!!!!

My heart started pounding when I read about another MBFP. CONGRATS!!:D What's the deal with October?
ETA: CONGRATULATIONS, shouldaeloped!!! Major sticky vibes for you :).

Dotsie, I don't think this is necessarily early. Last cycle you noted W on CD7 & then didn't chart for 2 days. It's very likely that you had more fertile CM then, too.

gator, FF is *always* smoking crack; proper interpretations are sheer luck ;). I really can't tell you. I can definitely understand why FF called it, and I understand why OS hasn't. I think you're going to have to go with your gut on this one.

Michelle, I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better! It's amazing how much productive thinking gets done on runs ;). Unfortunately, the same can sometimes be said for when you go to sleep, which often leads to insomnia, but that's a different story. Anyway, it sounds like seeing another doc (espcially since it'll be covered) is an excellent idea. I agree; this sounds like a quick diagnosis. Stay positive!

Klav, it looks to me like your temps are right in line with your previous cycles :).

ptcrn, don't go jumping to any conclusions! First of all, I think you O'd CD13, not CD11, making this 14 DPO. Second, based on all your previous cycles, FF doesn't want you to test until 19 DPO. Temp drops don't always mean AF is coming ;).

Congratulations shouldaeloped!! Sending you lots of sticky vibes!

Damn this month is on fire!

klav You temps looks just fine to me. Ideally, you want them closer to that range, plus they are very nice and stable...very hard to do while on clomid. Most likely the estrogen and clomid you are taking are lowering your temps...a sign they are doing what they are supposed to do.

gator I really suck at reading wacky charts. I would err on the side of caution and weigh your risks. Which is more "damaging" taking the progesterone when you haven't Oed or waiting a day or two when you really did O. I think only you can really answer that one.

gator97

Congratulations shouldaeloped!!! Another October BFP! Many sticky vibes to you.

Thanks for all the help, all. I'll wait it out a few days and see if I have a clearer picture. Of course, I don't hold out much hope b/c if I've already O'ed, my CM was not as good as last month. Oh well.

Wrighty- I would follow your gut and go see a new dr. before the RE. I had a similar experience in May when the dr. basically blew off my concerns off pelvic pain. Said not ovarian cysts and just get pregnant, the pain will go away. I went to a different doc, one who actually listened to me and made me feel valid in my concerns---he scheduled a lap, diagnosed my endo/adeno and is working proactively to get me pregnant. I love him!

Off to do more chartstalking.

Hi all. Just a quick check-in. Sorry I went MIA, but I'm glad that I came back to even more BFPs! Congrats amurphy! I'm so excited for you!

So, the doc called yesterday with the results of my CD4 bloodwork. She said I'm definitely not ovulating with any regularity and agrees with the other doc that it's PCOS. She said that before she starts me on Clomid, she wants us to do the other usual tests - an HSG and SA for DH. The timing was perfect right now for the HSG (yesterday was CD8) and the hospital had an opening today, so I got that done and over with. It was not fun at all and I'm so glad it's over. But the good news is that my tubes are perfectly clear! Now we get DH's SA done in the next few days and then hopefully we can meet with the doc next week and get started on the Clomid.

She gave me the option of waiting a few more months and trying on our own, since we've really only been trying for a few months (actually, only in July, since in June we were just kind of SWH and in August is when I started the nonstop spotting and never O'd), but since I've been charting since February and already can see that my body doesn't seem to want to regulate itself, and since we know PCOS is involved, I don't see any reason to wait. So on we go!

I'll be back later or tomorrow to catch up and do a few SO's. Have a great night everyone!

Shouldaeloped- Congrats!!!

October is on fire!

Gator- Thanks for the recommendation! There is actually a Physican's Associates right by where I live (I had no idea!). My issue-- the Dr. is kinda cute! Hee. Just kidding (well, he is kinda cute, but I take no issue with that). I might have to call them.

I feel bad in some ways going to another Dr, because I actually like the Dr. I am going to -- and I LOVE the office, but my gut says he's not giving me the treatment I need and pushing me to an RE isn't going to make it better.

gymwidow - I'm happy to hear that the tubes are clear! Sorry that it wasn't a fun time-- I'm sure that wasn't on the top of your list of things to get done today! I have read that the HSG can help your fertility for a few months-- so I hope you guys get busy!

ETA: I was just looking through my health insurance benefits-- How crazy it is that Health services and associated expenses for elective abortion are covered-- but nothing regarding inferility??? Grrr...

I hate to be a downer in the midst of all of the BFP craziness (congrats, shouldaeloped!), but I think I'm going to bow out of this thread...again. For good this time.

I am having a really hard time coping w/ our TTC problems, and especially seeing everyone around me get pg. I've had three close friends announce their pgcies in the past 24 hours and, while I'm ecstatic for all of them, I've just about reached the end of my rope, sanity-wise. Coming here and seeing all the BFPs month after month, without being successful myself, is not helping the situation. I've decided to see a counselor (appt for next week) too, so that should help.

Good luck to all of you.

MichelleRenee

I'm sorry, babylove. I really hope things look up for you. Whenever I come here and read that there is another BFP I always think, for a split second, that it might be me. Then I realize that I would have to know before CC knows. Then I feel sad. It's kind of silly, I know, but I guess that's what TTC does to people.

I wish you luck and I hope you get pregnant real soon!

You know? I was just telling my DH that something kind of funny happened to me this month. AF is pretty much gone now, I'm just spotting a little bit and I used the very last tampon that I had last night. Usually I end up with a few left in the box but this month I used every one in there. Think it's a sign that I won't need any for a long time? ;) It's funny how the TTC mind works.

babylove- I'm sorry to hear you are having to go through this. I did want to add that seeing a counselor was the best thing I have ever done for myself. it helped me to not be as frustrated during the TTC times and now to have more acceptance for what my body can do. so best of luck with that- I hope you get everything I got out of counseling and more.

Ericka_Jarett
10-13-2005, 07:33 AM
Michelle,

Take your temp with a regular thermo to see if you really have a fever or not. If you are getting sick, than I would disregard that temp. Plus really to have just 1 temp missing shouldn't mess up your chart any. Plus it's still early in the game and you just got done with AF

I'm very excited to announce I got a BFP yesterday!!!

I still am having a hard time believing it, that it happened so quickly. We've been really blessed and I just couldn't be happier. :D :D :D

Yesterday morning, I tested when I first woke up, and started to see a little line after a minute, and brought it to DH and asked if he could see it to, and he could. :D Then, I bought another brand test on my way home from work, because I just couldn't believe it, and the same thing. Called my Ob/gyn this morning, and my first appointment is October 27, I guess the HPT + is good enough for them.

I hope October can continue being such a great BFP month!

Wow! If we continue at this rate until the end of the month no one will be left (wait that is a good thing isn't it?!).

gator and lizard I'm a tuesday ovulator too! We're cycle buddies :D

gardenia The more stable temps only truely indicate that your hormones are more stable. That may mean pregnant...it may not. I wish I could give you a more optimistic answer but I am a bitter, bitter TTCer ;) Also I would use the 98.4 temp. I too wake up consistently an hour before my alarm goes off and I always use the later temp. Plus it looks better ;)

My O was total crap this cycle :( I don't think I've ever had such a wimpy temp rise. Guess I won't be buying HPTs this cycle.

gator97
10-13-2005, 05:06 PM
I'm with you, Soulmate. My O was a disappointment. Barely any decent CM, and since I didn't get any pain like I normally do, I don't really feel like I *did* O. I know I wasn't supposed to get any more pain--the whole point of surgery. But I'm missing the reassurance. Last month, I had pain for several days before and then I actually felt myself ovulate (at least that is what I tell myself).
I'm feeling hopeless this cycle. I feel more of a sense of urgency then I did in the past. It's like now that I've been pregnant, I feel the need to be pregnant even more desperately. I'm trying hard to get into a Zen-like state but I feel like this is all I think about. . . quite literally. Slowly losing my mind.

gator I hear ya. I had gotten pregnant so easily before (BFPs 2 out of 4 cycles) and after my m/c it was so completely inconceivable (no pun intended :D) that I was not getting pregnant. The last days of my LP were so incredibly torturous staring at those BFNs. I was seriously begging whatever powers that be to just put a second line on there. The zen-ness comes when you are sick and tired of putting yourself through so much every cycle. I think I literally went through the stages of grief...from denial...to bargaining...to anger. There is seriously nothing left after that and that is when the peace comes. I told DH, when I had that really bad day, that if I could just look into the future and see 2 kids I don't care how long my body makes me wait. I just want the reassurance that it *will* happen. Right now I don't have that. Then he said to have faith (him being a devout agnostic) and I scoffed

Wrighty26

Congrats Bethbunny!!!

I'm still here too :)

I actually have EWCM right now-- which would be most excellent if I ovulate! I am also experiencing the dull pain on my right side under my hipbone that I experience the month I successfully ovulate with Clomid. I'm not trying to get my hopes up-- but it would very cool if I ovulated-- it's a like a big screw you to my Dr (my TTC anxiety/disappointment has now turned to bitterness. Heh).

More good news-- my coworker has a Dr. recommendation for me! She's the only person I've told as work that I'm TTC-- mainly because she's pregnant-- and she was diagnosed with PCOS and defied the odds by getting pregnant without any drugs or anything. So, if I don't ovulate this month, I will have a backup plan. The Dr is a woman and she comes highly recommended. She won't see new patients unless they've been TTC for a year-- and I pretty much qualify (been off the pill for a year and a half-- and have been seeking medical help for more than a year)...

Gator and Soulmate -- you ladies are my inspiration! It will happen for both of you!

Exactly!!! Where is my crystal ball when I need it?

Aww Wrighty, thanks. So glad you got a dr. recommendation. It was my saving grace. Hope all those signs mean that you are in fact Ovulating now! Your story reminded me of me. When I got home from surgery having been diagnosed with Stage 2-3 endometriosis, I actually wanted to call my last doctor and shove the results in his face! Not that I wanted to have endometriosis but I *knew* that something was wrong. Hope this new doctor is able to find the answer for you.

I think that i said something along those lines a few weeks ago....if we could just have a little window to our uterus and have a good talking to it....it think we woudl all be much happier.....

on my front CD 8...still boring...but i just got info that my dr. is leaving the hospital and moving out of state....so now i have to find a new dr.:(

I really loved my dr. she is a family pract. but i see her for my Gyno stuff too and she was so excited when i told her we were TTC. She also took great care of me when i has my heart surgery and probs. So know i have to find another dr. and its not the greatest time since lots of dr's are leaving b/c of lack of hospitals due to the hurricane....

UGH! I'm so pissed at DH right now. I am SOOO ovulating right now (my temp is super low and I've got tons of EWCM) and tonight I got home late (I had theater tickets with a girlfriend) and he is too tired. I was so pissed I got out of bed and I'm in the office typing this right now. Listen buddy, if I could impregnate myself, I would do that, but I do need some cooperation here. Just a few of your best swimmers is all. Rarh! This will be the 5th month TTC and I'm getting a wee bit impatient. Especially when I know I'm O'ing - I just can't do anything about getting Mr. Spermie to meet Mrs. Eggie. :(

Sorry for the rant, along with the TMI, but I'm just so frustrated and this is the only place I can say this stuff!

Sorry Kat. Hopefully after you logged off last night you got some! ;)
I had a HUGE temp jump this morning. That's making me a little nervous. I did use an OPK (I swore I wouldn't use one this month) and it was negative. It was really hot in my house last night so I'm going to see how my temps are in the next couple of days and see how my chart plays out.

Good Luck everyone!!

How does one go about getting their thyroid tested? I know you have to see your doc and then your doc has to order bloodwork, but what if you are like me and don't have a doctor? And what kind of doctor should I see? The gyn I met with earlier this year for my preconception appointment has left the practice so I can't even ask her. Any suggestions? DH's insurance kics in in three weeks and I want to get on the ball with getting these tests done. I'm hoping that if they find a problem with my thyroid I can get it corrected and maybe that is keeping my from getting pg...

Soulmate
10-14-2005, 05:25 AM
polkadot I know how incredibly valuable good doctors are...that sucks she is leaving. I hope you find another one you feel just as comfortable with.

katmg I know exactly how you feel. Us charters are more control freaks than others and when everything doesn't cooperate...it can drive one batty!

Dotsie A CD10 O is really early but with your increased sex drive and temp dip it makes me wonder. Your OPK would be - if you did O then because the surge happens 24 - 36 hours before O. On O day it would be very negative (though I've seen differently, this is the rule).

Mystikal You can see any ole doctor, regular or gyn. You could also go to like a walk-in clinic if you have them there. Also ask them to run the test for thyroid antibodies. They may have no idea why you are asking or what it would mean if it comes back positive...but it does have meaning.

Wrighty26
10-14-2005, 06:14 AM
katmg - Sorry your hubby is a being a pain in the butt... I hope you convinced him otherwise... he needs to give it up already!

Dotsie - Hmmmm....It does look like a possible O--only time will tell, I guess.

Mystikal - I had my thyroid tested through my primary care physician when I had a general physical last year. She also checked a ton of other stuff too... Good luck :)

So I had quite the temp dip this morning and I still have pains on my right right side--- so cross your fingers for me that I will actually ovulate! If I do ovulate tomorrow or the next day I would be right on track, back to my normal "pre-crazy erractic" cycles. It could lead to nothing though...regardless I'm thinking happy thoughts and I've told DH he's "puttin' out" all weekend :D
