OMG. Has anyone seen the video??? I have the link (and was shocked) but wasnt' sure if it was appropriate to post or not. Mods?

Yeah she keeps slapping herself, her arse etc. it just seemed kinda freakish.. As a women of color myself it seems a bit strange that she is outside in her yard "sunbathing" maybe other women of color do that. I myself find my "tan" dark skin to be just right. Hints the reason why I do not need to sunbath, go to tanning salon etc.. :confused: which makes me feel that this was just a PR stunt. This is like what the 15th time she has been "caught" with her clothes off :rolleyes: wierd... whatever!

Oh well different strokes for different folks... :p

I just watched it and I don't see what the big deal is? So she is naked....so what? LOL. I don't see how anyone can say she is out of shape. She has always been "healthy" and a little "thick". Being in shape does not mean you are stick thin.

I haven't seen the video - the reason I asked if she was "out of shape" was because of this recent picture of her, in which she looks bigger than we're used to seeing her.

I watched it, agree with wendalah - what's the big deal? The "cheek-slapping" looks like more of what she's doing when she's lying on her back - tapping out a rhythm with her hands. I do that sometimes, to a song in my head. Not, to my memory, on my own caboose, but don't we all do silly things when we think no one's looking?

I'm not totally certain it's Janet Jackson at all, there's only the one time she lifts her head up and that could be spliced in over someone else's body for all I know. :)

I saw it this morning. It wasn't as bad as I had initially pictured it in my head. I thought she was smacking her ass not in a music tapping way. :o :D

DH showed me the video last week. I really does like like her. But, I must admit, the first thing I thought was "Doesn't she know she's already black? What does she need to tan for?"

Some black women don't look brown, so they tan. And on camera its doesn't always look good, if they're too fair. I think Beyonce tans also.
