Hi all. I bought ten tiki torches to put around my patio for a party. At that time, I thought I'd simply take them out of the ground and put them in the garage when I was done. I really only want to use them for parties, not have them out all the time. But then it dawned on me that they still have oil in the little cans and I don't want something so flammable in the garage(attached to the house). We don't have a shed or any kind of outbuilding to store them in. Do you think if I burned the remaining oil, it would be okay to put them in the garage? Do you think they'd be okay anyway? Where do you keep yours in the off season?

Hmm, ours are still in the yard. Is that bad? :D

Do your little cans come out of the torches??? I know that ours do. We take them out and store them in a big tub with lid in the garage. I know you said you didn't want to do that, but it's how we do it. Seems to be alright......for now anyway.....

We dump out the leftover oil into a coffee can at the end of the summer and dispose of it with our used car oil. The unused oil is in a plastic jug in the garage.
