Hello! This is my first month of charting and I wanted to get anyone's input on my chart...is it looking normal etc. We sorta messed up with UDD (I know suspose to chart 6 months before doing that) anyways we had some UDD on CD7 and 8, CD11, CD14, CD16 and CD17, I know that is a lot of UDD, but well what's done is done I guess. We wouldn't be upset if it happened otherwise we would've defintly been more careful. I mainly wanted to start charting to see what was going on with my body not really TTA or TTC if that makes much sense. Anyways, how is this looking? TIA!

ps the first few temps are rocky b/c I was taking them at different times.

Thank you ladies, God Bless!!!

You seem to have a really clear thermal shift on CD11, which would mean that FF is right on. But with the EW on CD16 and 17, it's *possible* that you haven't ovulated yet. Not likely, but possible. A lot of women will randomly get EW after they ovulate, especially if it's their first cycle or two off the pill.

In any case, you've got really good BD timing!

What are all the open circles?

The open circles make it hard to say...but I would err on the side of not ovulated for UDD purposes as well as being my opinion. CD11 is early to ovulate though nothing is impossible when just off BCPs. But the EWCM at just the right time tells me that maybe you haven't ovulated yet (though QC has a very valid point). BTW whoever told you 6 months is torturing you...the general rule is 3 *cycles* of charting before UDD.

Approximately how long are your cycles normally? If you actually did O on CD11 & have the average LP of 14 days, that would give you a 25-day cycle. If your cycles are usually longer than that, then I am *very* confident you didn't on CD11. I do think you are either about to O or did so yesterday. Good luck!

What does UDD stand for? Sounds like it might be some sort of abbreviation for sex. I've heard of DTD, and BD, but what's UDD?

Unprotected Dirty Deed ;) Mostly used when charting-to-avoid to differentiate between protected sex when fertile & unprotected when not.

I agree with the others that you may not have O'd on CD11, but it's impossible to tell without knowing your history.

Either way, your BDing schedule looks great, so good luck!

Thanks ladies! I agree CD11 just looks so early. I had EWCM yesterday and then today its watery so something tells me I O'd yesterday or today but FF isn't changing it. ARGH! But anyways thanks!!! :D

ps...my cycles usually are around 33-35 days long. When I was on BCP they were 28 and before BCP they were 32-33 days.

Just an FYI, don't rely on FF to call the correct O date for you, also FF won't call (or change) an O date for you until you 3 dpo, or until you have 3 temps showing a thermal shift.

It does not look like you have O'd. It looks like you probably will soon, though.

There does apprear to be a thermal shift after cd11, but look at the temperatures. They're very low. I don't think I've even seen a chart with 97.1 as a post-O temp! Your 2 highest temps have open circles, so they're not reliable. So just with the temp range, chances are you're pre-O.

Plus, there was no fertile CM leading up to that. The only time you've had fertile CM is today & yesterday. You wouldn't have that in your LP.

That is not a TTA chart, if you UDD on cd16 and 17, the 2 days you have been the most fertile so far. That is the chart of a TTCer.

FF won't change your O date until you have 3 high temps in a row. If you O'd today, you shuold have a temp spike tomorrow and Friday morning it should move your crosshairs.

It's really important to learn the rules, though, because FF isn't always accurate at calling these things. And there are different settings you can choose for it, too.

Thanks Scooter!!! You really helped. My chart really isn't a TTA chart or TTC chart. I'm charting just to know what's going on. DH and I are not trying nor preventing. Kinda "seeing what happens" anyway... Thanks!!! I know I did not O the other day, I know when I O, I always get the cramps and sore nips 2 days after and that has not happened yet.

ps.my dogs name is Scooter and the picture of your dog next to your name looks just like him, lol :) and congrats on the pregnancy!!!
